chaerin stares at jaemin after receiving that weird pick up line from him, jaemin blushed and turns his head away to the other side,

"shit. that was embarrassing.", jaemin mumbles to himself

chaerin chuckles and pats jaemin's shoulder, "it's fine, i'm not uncomfortable with it"

jaemin looks back as he bit his lower lip, "you do?"

before chaerin could answer, haechan interrupted them as he rests both of his arms on their shoulders,

"what are you still doing here? we already got a table! let's go and eat!"

jaemin shakes his head, disappointed with the suddent interruption but chaerin had an opposite reaction

instead, chaerin smiles and nodded, "sure, i'll follow!"

it only take them a minute of walking when they finally reached the table that haechan was talking about, haechan sees his older brother's group at the another table behind them,

haechan hissed and whispers to his brother, jeno, "why are we here?"

jeno looks at him with a puppy face, "because you asked me to find a table?"

haechan glares at him, "a table that is not near with our older brothers!"

renjun sighs, hearing those whines from haechan is enough to give him a headache, "just sit there and eat your food, it's not like you see each other everyday"

"we literally live in one house!", haechan complains further

jaemin takes a bite from his cheesecake before answering him, "but you're the one who said that as much as possible the younger ones try to avoid them"

jeno nods, "yes but that doesn't mean we can't avoid them during meal time"

"uhm excuse me?", chaerin asks which diverted the boys' attentions to her, "those five are your older brothers? all of them?"

haechan chuckles, "surprising, isn't it?"

"four of those people are not our biological brothers", jeno adds

chaerin nods, understanding the situation, "why do you hate them though?"

haechan pouts, "it's a long story not meant to be shared today, chaerin"

renjun clears his throat, "and here comes Jaehyun hyung"

jaemin squints his eyes, "and with a new guy too. who is that?"

haechan looks back and shrugs, "haven't seen that guy in our house"

"his looks are of a Japanese", jeno commented as he look back as well

renjun, jaemin, and haechan are quick to look at chaerin, chaerin noticed the stares and chuckles,

"why are you staring at me like that?"

jaemin shrugs, "because you're from Japan and maybe you know the guy?"

chaerin looks up to have a better view of the guy they were talking about, "oh that Japanese-looking guy?"

the boys nodded in unison, chaerin continued, "that's my older brother"

"you have an older brother?", renjun asks and chaerin just nodded as a response as she enjoys her food

"but you don't look like a Japanese, what makes him your brother?", jeno asks this time

"he's my half older brother to be exact. his dad is a Japanese while my dad is Korean.", chaerin smiles before she continues eating her food

jaemin nods, "what's your brother's name then?"

"he's Nakamoto Yuta! cool name, right?"

haechan, jaemin, jeno, and renjun nodded from the information given to them as they all look at the older Lee's group of friends

jeno coughs, picking up a bread and a banana milk, "i have to go and find someone first, i'll see you at the classroom!"

jeno leaves the group, leaving haechan and renjun with questions, "that was too sudden"

jaemin shrugs, "let's just eat"

haejoo removes hyunjin's grip from her arm when they finally stop running at a quiet garden behind the school

she looks around and noticed that no one from Stray Kids except from hyunjin is around, that includes jiyoo

"what do you want now, hyunjin?", haejoo asks with her bored tone

hyunjin scratched his nape, not answering to haejoo's question

haejoo sighs, "you already know right that your girls will try to kill me again if they saw us together, alone."

"i know, just hear me out first", hyunjin holds haejoo's hands which gave haejoo an uncomfortable feeling

"um okay? spill it out."

hyunjin roamed his thumbs to haejoo's hands before he speaks, "did you know that jeno has a 6-year crush on you?"

"that's ridiculous"

"i know, but you know what happens to their girlfriends and crushes right?"

haejoo sighs, "i'm not taking any of this bullshit today, hyunjin. it's the first day of school, please give me a break!"

hyunjin suddenly caressed haejoo's cheeks which gave her a mere amount of shock, hyunjin advanced by giving her a kiss on the lips

haejoo tries to move away from the kiss but hyunjin's grip of her was tight

hyunjin stops from his actions when they suddenly heard something dropped nearby

they look at their side and did not expect someone to see, he picks up the bread and tries to pick up the milk carton even though the contents are already spilled

he bows at them and smiles, "i'm sorry, i didn't mean to disturb your loving moment"

he quickly leaves as tears started to drop one by one from his eyes

haejoo tries to follow the guy but hyunjin stops her, "if you follow him, it will be more suspicious to his older brothers"

haejoo groans and leaves the place, she wants to follow the guy but she knows it will be too awkward for them

and that guy, by the way, was lee jeno.
