jaemin arranged the notebooks scattered on his desk when hyebin suddenly poked his right arm, he looked at her as she successfully got his attention, "do you need anything, hyebin?"

hyebin pursed her lips into a thin smile, "can you please come with me during recess? i'm not really yet familiar with the whole school.", she pouted afterwards

jaemin showed an apologetic smile, "i'm sorry but i will be with the boys", hyebin immediately frowned upon hearing his response

"i'm not coming with you", jeno stated as he stands up, renjun immediately inquired, "where are you go-"

renjun couldn't finish his sentence because jeno already arrived at haejoo's place, renjun shakes his head, "nevermind, i know the answer"

"hey jaemin and renjun!", haechan called out, "let's go at the cafeteria, jisung and chenle are waiting for us."

hyebin looked up as she looked at haechan, "can i go with you?"

haechan looked at jaemin and renjun first before looking back at her, "with us? are you fine with that?"

hyebin nodded, renjun quickly interfered, "you can come with chaerin, you're both Kang's anyways"

"oh?", hyebin frowned, "who is chaerin again?"

jaemin smiled and pointed at the girl with bangs and a long wavy hair, "that's chaerin"

hyebin fake smiled and nodded, "thank you!", she stands up and approached the girl that the boys suggested

"can we have the break together?", meanwhile, jeno immediately inquired when he arrived at haejoo's seat

haejoo chuckled, "that's cute but of course!"

chaerin noticed their interactions and smiled, "are you two dating?"

haejoo shrugs while jeno replied as he scratched his nape, "you could say it like that"

"uhm hello", hyebin greeted them as chaerin immediately smiled at her, "hello hyebin! i'm chaerin!", chaerin stretched out her hand for them to shake hands but hyebin refused to by giving her a small smile

awkward by the situation, chaerin laughed and retreated her actions, "why are you here by the way?"

"oh uhm can i come with you? jaemin won't let me come with their group", hyebin clasped her hands together as she pouts

jeno chuckled, "i'm sorry for their actions but they're going to have a meeting for the club fair this friday"

"excluding you?", haejoo inquired but jeno smirked, replying, "of course not, i'm just excused"

chaerin smiled, "you can come with us, hyebin!"

jaehyun and yuta arrived the cafeteria hall together. upon seeing their presence, squeals can be heard from left and right. jaehyun even made it worse when he let his hair run through his fingers.

yuta chuckled, "should i get used to this whenever i'm with you?"

jaehyun shook his head, "nah, don't talk like that as if you're not handsome yourself too"

they arrived where jaehyun's group of friends usually sits, "oh yuta is here too!", one of their friends, ten, suddenly greeted as he waved his hand

yuta smiled at them and proceeds to sit beside jaehyun, johnny looked around and noticed a familiar face, he immediately nudged taeyong's arm and inquired, "isn't that lee jeno?"

everyone from the group looked at jeno's direction, lucas looked back at johnny with disappointment written on his face

"why do you state his name as if you're not siblings", lucas inquired which gained laughs from the group

"because we're actually not", johnny immediately replied with a mocking face

taeyong looked at jeno's direction once again and scoffed, "and with a girl"

they all looked once again and noticed how a girl is busy eating and talking beside jeno

"okay, i'm placing my order. MINE!", johnny exclaimed as he fished out his wallet and threw it on the table

ten smirked, "unfortunately, you can't"

"and why?"

jaehyun chuckled, "maybe you forgot that you just got mark's ex-girlfriend"

yuta looked at jaehyun and inquired, "who is mark?"

"he's one of our friends but he's not here as of the moment", jaehyun replied with a smile

johnny groaned, "how about you, lucas?"

"i'm not interested with younger girls", lucas plainly replied as he munched on to his sandwich

yuta noticed a quiet guy beside jaehyun who is just reading with his own books and not giving a single care to what they are currently talking about

taeyong coughed, gaining their attention, "how about you, sicheng?"

the quiet guy looked up from his book, "what do you mean, 'how about me'?"

"that girl with jeno", taeyong pointed at jeno's direction which sicheng's eyes immediately followed, "what do you think about her?"

sicheng observed the girl's appearance and her overall look, sicheng looked back at them, "she's just okay"

johnny screamed in delight upon hearing sicheng's response, "so no one would date her? i'm calling this deal off."

sicheng chuckled, "she's just okay to the point that i might date her"
