"how are you?", haechan quickly went on to hug jisung which the younger immediately tried to pull away

"oh my gosh hyung, stop. that's embarrassing.", jisung glared at him as he tried to remove himself from haechan's grip

jaemin chuckled, "he just missed you so much, he won't stop talking about you when we're in class."

"hyung, we're fine on our own!", chenle interfered, "it's not like we're going to die"

"high school will kill you though", renjun commented as he adjusts his specs, a mere amount of silence swept the group but jisung broke it by laughing, "eh~ don't scare us like that!"

chenle grinned, "moving on, where is jeno hyung?"

jaemin scanned the whole cafeteria and immediately noticed jeno by the stalls together with haejoo, he immediately pointed at the couple which diverted chenle and jisung's attention

"oh!", jisung reacted, "jeno hyung is dating someone?", he inquired as he also adjusted his specs. he moved his head forward, trying to get a clearer view.

"won't that be difficult for him?", chenle inquired this time, "i mean given the fact that your older brothers are really weird. I MEAN WEIRD WEIRD.", chenle commented, emphasizing the word weird enough

haechan sighed, "we'll just find a way to get out through it, i guess?"

"anyways!", renjun butted in as he clasped his hands together, "what will be the plans for this friday?"

"yes, right! i almost forgot!", chenle smiled as he brought out his iPad, "what i got from the student council meeting is that we are going to perform halfway of the event."

"did they require us a specific song to perform or..", haechan's words were immediately cut off when chenle added, "they gave us the freedom to choose any song as long as it's not violent and it is in line with the club fair's theme."

renjun nodded, "who else are going to perform besides us?"

chenle swipes his notes upwards as he looked through the specific information, "NCT 127, Stray Kids, AB6IX, Cravity, and", chenle paused for awhile as he squinted his eyes to look at the information properly, "WayV?"

that word came out more as a question than a declarative statement as chenle continued, "yes, WayV"

"who are they?", jaemin inquired, "never heard of them"

haechan sighed, "it's just a group of sicheng hyung, ten hyung, and lucas hyung with four additional chinese members"

"oh" renjun reacted, "do we know who are these four additional members?"

jisung nodded, "we all know kun hyung, he's a music major in the college department! however, the information of the other three are unknown since they just transferred."

jaemin nodded, "well it's nice to have more competition, i guess?"

"so", chaerin started off as she walked at the hallways together with hyebin, "which club do you want to join this friday?"

hyebin looked at her and frowned, "i'm not sure actually, how about you?"

"i'll try the photography club or the journalist club!", chaerin answered with a smile

hyebin let out a soft smile, "by the way, i want to ask you something"

chaerin's head perked up as she smiled widely, "sure, what is it?"

hyebin looked around first before she continued, "do you know anything about my seatmate, na jaemin? like facts or even his favorites?"

chaerin's smiles slowly faded away when she heard jaemin's name coming out from an another girl, she's not sure whether or not it's jealousy but she doesn't want to go ahead of her feelings just yet

chaerin chuckled as she shrugged, "i'm not really sure because i'm a new student like you too but if i know anything, i'll let you know!", chaerin faked a smile as she nervously laughed

"omg!", hyebin squealed, "are you sure? thank you so much", she then proceeds to hug chaerin while rolling her eyes during the process, chaerin hugged back as she continued to laugh awkwardly

"chaerin eonni!", jiyoo called out as she blocked chaerin and hyebin's path, hyebin tilts her head to the side and proceeds to ask, "is she your sister?"

chaerin shakes her head, "no, she's just a friend. anyways, what do you need jiyoo?"

jiyoo panted before she speaks, "where is haejoo eonni?"

"she's with jeno at the cafeteria, why?"

jiyoo tweaked her own hair, "hyunjin's been looking for her. let her be out of his sight as much as possible!"

this was supposed to be yesterday's update since i decided to do my updates during m,w,f but since i forgot to publish it, so it's published today haha pls give me motivation
