jaemin approached chaerin by the lockers as the lady is looking for her textbooks, "hey chaerin"

"hmm?", chaerin replied, not even looking at the guy, "i think we can't do the project tonight"

chaerin looked at him and smiled, "it's okay, i can do it alone"

"no!", jaemin instantly refused by the girl's offer, "i'm not letting you do the project alone! that's a no no!"

chaerin chuckled, "that's cute, i'll take a rest for tonight then"

jaemin clapped like a seal, "that's better!"

chaerin smiled as she locked her locker, bringing the textbook she needed for the next class. they entered the room together and as if it's per usual already, han jisung blocked chaerin's path to greet her.

jisung smiled widely, "hello chaerin! i heard that you can't drink coffee, take this instead!", jisung reached the can of coke towards the lady but chaerin replied with an awkward smile

"that's worse..", chaerin mumbled but jisung heard it anyways

"OH MY GOD! I'M SO SORRY!", jisung proceeds to tweak his own hair as he realized something, "so you're telling me you can't drink acidic drinks?"

chaerin slowly nodded, "i can but not frequently"

jisung pouted, "i'm really sorry"

"it's fine", chaerin smiled at him before she left to sit on her chair, jaemin followed her but he stopped beside jisung and whispered, "do better next time bro"

jisung glared at jaemin as he stomped his way back to his chair, jaemin chuckled upon going at his own desk. he noticed some snacks on his table and wondered who it came from.

"jeno?", jaemin called out as the guy turned his head around, "yep?"

"did you know who gave these to me?"

jeno shook his head, "i'm sorry jaem but i don't know"

"it's from hyebin!", renjun suddenly mentioned which angered the girl beside jaemin

"i told you not to tell anyone!", hyebin gritted her teeth as she sends death glares to renjun

renjun smirked as he went back to focus on his notes, jaemin smiled at hyebin, "i'm sorry hyebin but i can't accept this"

"why?", hyebin pouted, "do you have a girlfriend?"

jaemin scratched his nape as he went on to sit on his chair, "you can say that i'm taken"

"YOU ARE?", jeno and renjun replied at the same time, "you never told us about it? who's that girl?", renjun added

jaemin smiled, "you will know", jaemin moved the snacks from his table to hyebin's, "i'm really sorry, hyebin"

hyebin's frown got lower as she accepted the snacks she bought, "i'm sorry too. well uh i didn't know."

jaemin nodded, "i acknowledge it"

chaerin heard the conversation between the boys and hyebin and felt as if her heart has been broken into pieces

jaemin never talked about any girl to chaerin, so who could it be as the thought of different girls in her room crossed her mind

she also thought that maybe it's not from their class?

she also recalled how jaemin is so sweet towards her, is it really sincere or unintentional?

haechan noticed the commotion as he pursed his lips into a thin smile, hiding the snacks he bought for someone back to his bag

"JAEMIN! DO IT PROPERLY!", haechan complained as he played the song again back to the top

jaemin bowed as he had an apologizing look on his face, "i'm really sorry. i'll work hard."

haechan sighed, "AS YOU SHOULD!"

renjun tweaked his own hair, "will you please calm down? we can perfect this."

haechan crossed his arms, "with jaemin's progress? i don't think so."

jisung interfered between his hyungs as he showed them his sweet smile, "hyungs, there's no need to fight."

jeno scratched his head, "let's do it again from the top"

haechan groaned as he pressed the play button again and immediately went to his position

halfway through the song, him and renjun suddenly bumped at each other making renjun fall backwards, "LEE DONGHYUCK! WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM?"

"you're the one who got it wrong, huang!", haechan glared at him, "why are you blaming it on me?"

chenle sighed, "this will be a long fight again", he went on to get his tumbler to drink some water from it

jisung is anxious and couldn't comprehend what he must do as haechan and renjun continued to bicker

jaemin sighed as he reached for haechan's shoulder, "how about we start again? after you'll cool down?"

haechan yanked jaemin's hands away as he stomped his way getting his backpack and leaving their practice room

he closed the door way too strong that it shocked jisung and even the supposed to be unbothered chenle who is playing some games

"what's the problem with him?", chenle complained, not looking up from hs phone

jeno bit his lower lip, "maybe he's just pressured. i'll talk him out."
