"oppa..", chaerin's words trailed off as she slowly tugged her older brother's polo shirt as they made their way at the hallways, "why are they staring at us?"

yuta smiled widely at her, "maybe because i'm too handsome?"

chaerin glared at the taller guy, "you're still nakamoto yuta after all"

yuta shrugged, "who else i could be?"

chaerin stopped by at her lockers and opened it to get some books from it, yuta looked at his watch and patted his younger sister's head, "i have to go now, sweetie"

chaerin nodded, "take care!"

yuta smiled at her as he dashed off to go at his classroom, he can't afford to be late on the second day anyways

"uhm excuse me?", a girl that is obviously younger than chaerin suddenly approached her. chaerin smiled at the girl's direction, waiting for her to continue.

"is that japanese guy.... your boyfriend?", the girl inquired which made chaerin shocked, she immediately laughed afterwards as she realized the question

"he's not my boyfriend, he's my older brother!", chaerin grinned at the girl but the latter did otherwise

"don't lie, eonni! you don't even look alike!", the girl pouted as she crossed her arms

chaerin chuckled, "because we have different fathers?", chaerin answered but it's more of a question

chaerin smiled at the girl one last time before leaving her at the hallways and proceeds to enter her classroom

"good morning, chaerin!", jisung immediately greets her as she steps inside, "you look tired, have some coffee!", jisung shows the glass bottle full of coffee to chaerin

chaerin awkwardly smiled at him as she slowly received the coffee, "good morning and thank you for this!"

chaerin left jisung grinning by the door as she made her way to her seat, she's immediately greeted by sunwoo and hyunjoon when she arrived,

"good morning!", the duo said in unison which definitely plastered a smile on chaerin's face

"good morning too!", chaerin looked around the room first and proceeds to ask, "is haejoo here already?"

hyunjoon nods, "she's here 20 minutes ago but she left the room with jeno"

sunwoo quickly agrees with hyunjoon, "i don't know where they went though"

haejoo arrived the classroom with jisung and felix by her side, jisung is unusually happy and excited today but haejoo doesn't mind him at all, she thought maybe he wanted to focus on studying after all those years

she looks sleepless and soulless. well, how can she even sleep well with what jeno told her last night?

it was supposed to be a fun brainstorming of ideas for the history project but instead it's a different one

haejoo silently groaned as she drops her head on the desk but before she could even hit her head on the desk, a hand saved it for doing so

"be careful!", haejoo inhaled deeply when she heard the voice, "this can't be him, i'm not ready to see him", is what her head has been trying to tell but her body did otherwise

she looked at the direction where the voice is coming from and forced a smile, "do you need anything, jen?"

jeno smiled by the nickname given to him by the only girl he likes, "can you come with me for a minute?"

haejoo tilted her head to the side, "where?"

jeno never replied as he immediately grabbed haejoo's wrist and they started running away from the room

students are looking at their way as they ran through the hallways, of course they will be given the looks from the students because she's with the owner's son anyway

they finally stopped running when they reached the rooftop, haejoo tried to catch her breath as she waits for jeno to talk

jeno turned around and let out a soft smile, "haejoo, about last night. i-"

haejoo motioned him to stop talking, "i should be the one to say sorry, i was too careless of my words and said things i should never had."

jeno shakes his head as he holds haejoo's hands, haejoo never felt uncomfortable when jeno holds her hands as if they were been together for years

jeno looks down as he rubs haejoo's hands with his thumbs

"i'm sorry too, well for lying about the history project. it is true though that i want to hangout with you and well uhm confess?", jeno's last statement came out as a question rather than a declarative one

haejoo chuckled, "but i never said last night right that i took down your offer?"

jeno immediately looks up and smiled widely, "does that mean?"

"can you ask me the question again?", haejoo smirked, teasing jeno in the process

but for jeno, he didn't feel that it was a tease, he's loving the idea of having to say it again,

"can i court you?", jeno pursed his lips into a thin smile as she waits for haejoo's answer

haejoo nodded, "well if it is lee jeno, then why not?"

jeno screamed in delight as she quickly hugs haejoo and lifting her up in the air, "thank you so much, hae! i love you!"

haejoo smiled, "no worries, jen. just don't hurt me."
