POV: Kathleen(Gemini III)

I watched as Nicole ran around the house knocking things over and wondered where her father was. He didn't say how long he'd be gone or what it was he'd be doing. I continued to wonder until Nicole threw a small doll's head at me. "Stop throwing things!" I yelled at her. But she just laughed and ran away looking for another object of destruction to fire at me. I got up off of the couch I was layed out across on and walked over to the sliding glass door that led to our backyard. I was opening it when a crow nearly ran into the glass but stopped just short of the damn thing. I jumped up and screamed loudly enough for Nicole to run back in the living room asking "Mommy what's wrong?" I turned to her and waved her to me.

She came over as I turned back to face the crow and opened the sliding glass door

She came over as I turned back to face the crow and opened the sliding glass door. The crow landed on the back of a lawn chair we had outside. It then placed one talon resting upon the chair's arm. Nicole looked up at me and asked if she could speak to the crow. I nodded and watched closely as Nicole held my hand while touching the crow's beak. It bent its head down and looked at her then its tail feathers ruffled and she looked back at me. "Say hi mommy!" she said as I heard it speak. "I am here from the House of Silvercrow and I come with an important message." I asked who it came from but it just cocked its head and repeated itself. I told Nicole to keep our link while I heard what it had to say. The crow had merely brought an invitation but also stated that I could not accept it without my other half present. I then smiled and waved at the crow to come inside.

Nicole severed the link and walked to the playground to amuse herself. As the crow flew in its feathers changed from its usual black to a silvery shade and it landed upon the Urn. I spoke aloud "Alright so why did they send a crow and what is this transformation you've taken?" The Crow spoke into my mind saying that any creature or being masking itself would be revealed upon entering a house of
the twins of any sign.

I

accepted the answer and looked over at Nicole playing and smiled turning back to the crow I asked "Is that all?" "I must observe your effort to contact your other half" It responded. I looked at the Urn and then closed my eyes, opening them once I had concentrated hard enough to arrange the call. I could see in the crow's eyes the nearly neon blue reflection of my own eyes. I hadn't made a call without the use of the house in a long time and so it was strenuous. I recieved no answer and then tried again with the house's help. Jami Burnette answered telling me that Ayinde and John had departed to House Sagitarrius and Corey was still trapped inside the very house she was calling.

Jami then hung up on me and the crow lifted off of the Urn; its eyes beginning to glow white. "What will happen now?" I asked as it made its way out the doorway. It said nothing as it reverted back to form of a normal crow once it exited. Nicole was walking up and asked if something was wrong. I looked down and told her that we were going on a trip soon to find her father. She smiled hugely and lifted off the ground soaring over to her room to pack unnecesarry things.

I closed the sliding glass door and spied the crow as it turned toward the sun

I closed the sliding glass door and spied the crow as it turned toward the sun. As I locked the door it faded into nothingness. All that was visible then the outline of a crow silvery still in the face of the sun.
