The clock turned to 6:15 and I still lay on the bed, debating to get up or just try to sleep as for the last 15 to 20 minutes I was just laying there trying to see what there was to do, I could've gone up past the 7th floor but it was heavily guarded due to the infected and no one was let by. If you even tried you would be beat down so I marked it off my list...for now.
The guards were able to monitor almost everything except the houses and had the right to kick someone out if they had something wrong with them. A hint is being infected, in that case, ME. Without a doubt I would have people trying to kick me out or hurt me, but I could always resist.

I felt movement in the bed and saw Jisu turn to her side her back facing me. I rubbed my eyes and rose up, swinging my legs to the side of the bed. I yawned and got dressed before I sat next to Jisu and her sleeping body. I turned her body and layed on her shoulder. "Good morning sleepyhead, it's time to wake up." I gently said.

Jisu groaned slightly and tried to sleep as I kissed her cheek. I rose her up and she remained asleep as I hugged her. Jisu's eyes fluttered open after a few minutes, "Hi...how'd you sleep?" I asked.

Jisu yawned and stretched, "Good...I guess..."

"Awesome. It's Christmas, you wanna go open gifts?"

"Yeah!"

I smiled as she got up to get dressed as well as probably getting her presents for me out.

Jisu walked out as I got the presents for her down from the refrigerator. "You hid them there? I thought you would be more sneaky about it." She said.

"Since I can reach the back and you can't...I put it there, shortie.

"I'm not short." Jisu replied.

I sighed before sitting down on the couch, Jisu sitting on the far side, making room for the gifts. "Ladies first." I said. Jisu's face showed a hint of embarrassment but she continued. She pulled out of the bag gifts that were actually wrapped.

"You didn't have to make it this way, you didn't have to wrap it." I said.
"Yeah, but I wanted to do it, for you!" Jisu replied.
I unwrapped it and it was a brand new hunting knife. I set it down and stopped Jisu from handing me more.

"I wanted to give you your gifts. It took a giant amount of resistance to hand you the one you'll like most, but let me start with the small gifts." I said.

I pulled out 3 plushies that Jisu squealed over and hugged me. I hugged her back and set the plushies on the table. "Close your eyes."

Jisu did as asked and I pulled out the rings, still perfectly in it's case. "If you peek, I'll have to punish you." I hugged her and she opened her eyes, already, I didn't care. "I love you Jisu and I'll do everything I can to protect you, even if I get hurt...or worse."
Jisu's grip tightened, "Now...Jisu. Will...you...Marry me?"

Jisu backed away from me in disbelief. I smiled awkwardly and showed her the rings, "I don't really remember if I proposed before, but I wanted to do it again. Last time probably wasn't very...proper."

Tears began forming I'm at the edges of Jisu's eyes and she pounced on me in joy. I felt her tears bleed through my shirt as I placed my hands on her back and pat it. Jisu rose up and took the ring case away before putting it on the table. Jisu then wrapped her arms around me and hugged me, not letting go.

I felt myself smile, seeing Jisu like this lifted my heart. I sat up with her after she had knocked me down and I sat her down next to me. She slumped down onto my shoulder, realizing her joy outburst and went back to being as normal as she could. I felt at ease with her, the room we were in was completely silent, enough to where you could hear a pin drop.

"Tyr."

"Huh?" I asked.

"Thank you...so much. You do everything that you can and will, to try and make me happy, I appreciate everything that you do. From the first time I met you...I felt mixed emotions all the way to my confession. Heh, it's funny how I can change this easily." Jisu explained. She placed her hand in mine.

I smiled. "I try. I'll continue to do so as well."

"Looks like it's a competition then." Jisu said.

"It's the competition that i've already won then." I replied.

"That doesn't count though, I wasn't expecting it."

"Do you have to know?" I asked.

Jisu shrugged before standing and walking to the kitchen. "What should we eat for breakfast?"

"I don't know, what do you want?"

Jisu shrugged again and walked to the bathroom. "I'm going to take a shower real quick, ok?"

"Got it." I replied before stretching. I rubbed my eyes and walked to the window and opened the blinds. It was cloudy outside, a depressing gray color filled the sky with little bits of snow falling to the ground where they would eventually be stepped on by people.

I eventually stepped away and grabbed the plushies before walking to the bedroom to find a good spot for them. I decided to set them on the dresser so everyone could see them. I walked back to the kitchen and immediately had a feeling of throwing up and went to the trash can since the bathroom was occupied. I threw up but it wasn't what I expected.

Blood.

"Well..." I wiped my mouth of the remaining liquid. "That hasn't happened in a while."

I myself was surpried, especially since I had gained control of it and I hadn't coughed up blood in the longest time.

The infection was progressing.
