"Get up if you can...you need to know that you failed."
Tyr's eyes shot open and he immediately began to try and stand, slow. He spat out a bit of blood and took a few breaths. Within a couple of seconds, Tyr had picked up his sword and slashed through Xion's armor, making blood spill from his side.
"What...how..."
Tyr turned around to attack but was punched in the face. He flung through the air and landed on his back. Xion walked over and kicked him where he broke his ribs causing a scream.
"Soon zombies'll be here if you don't shut up." Xion snapped.
Tyr grabbed Xion's foot and pushed him back, barley able to stand at this point. "Still got fight left?"
Tyr landed a hard blow on Xion's face and neck and he stumbled.
Xion rushed at Tyr and threw him over his back but Tyr landed on his feet, squeezing his jacket.
He dodged slashes, his jacket taking the most damage until it was shreds where Tyr spun and kicked Xion down. Tyr looked at Xion as he stood.
"When I fall...I always stand because there is always a chance! So don't ever say I failed...because I hate that...word. I have a new meaning...First Attempt is Learning! So take this as a first attempt and learn it well! I just beat you with broken bones!" Tyr yelled, stabbing Xion through the stomach, over and over until he didn't move anymore, even then, he kept on.
Xion after that was barley noticeable and it would leave anyone disgusted. Jisu couldn't draw her eyes away from him, nor could she try and stop him. Her legs would just buckle if she tried and she would fall back to her knees until bruises would begin to appear on her kneecaps. She would get talked to about it by Tyr and would force herself to train more, only to have the same thing happen to her over and over again. When anything dangerous would begin, she would serve no purpose in it because Tyr would fight, but if she didn't try to stop him now or later, he would for sure suffer. She would too.
She tried to stand, she felt like she was floating. "Tyr...please," Jisu whispered. She made her way over to him slowly, using anything she could to keep her balance, trees, thick branches that had fallen, occasional signs to lower speed limits, and the ground if she fell. Her jeans were dirtied from tiny pebbles and dirt from falling but she forced herself to ignore it, forgetting about trying to be clean for Tyr.
"Tyr...please," she repeated louder, slowly inching closer to him. He was still stabbing the body, barley raising the sword at that point. He then swung his sword at a great speed, hitting something that wasn't in her view. A zombie.
She began trying to move faster until she could run as Tyr stood his ground attacking runners that began approaching him from every direction. She felt herself be pulled back and immediately shoved her foot backward and heard a crack from a zombie's leg as it fell, pulling her with it. She landed next to it's still moving body and instantly flung it away from her it taking a small bit of fabric from her shirt with it. She got back up and made her way to Tyr, surrounded by bodies of rotting flesh, mangled.
Their clothes of all different colors being any, yellow, blue, purple, was now stained with their own blood and Tyr was the killer. He slightly fell to the side and rushed in front of him, destroying more vertebrae of three more rushing zombies, groaning in hunger. He slammed his fist into one of the zombie's head, coming back with a bloodied fist. Jisu swore she heard a chuckle.
Jisu already began to faintly remember what Tyr looked like before, a cute, handsome, sometimes childish sometimes serious person that she admired, now a bloodied, broken, and a feeling for blood to spew.
More and more the zombies came, the more bodies that dropped around him turning his shoes and his jeans a crimson color, the blade of the sword following.
Jisu stood frozen yet again but forced herself to move until Tyr looked in her direction.
"Tyr. Please stop, I've never seen you like this...it scares me, I just want us to be safe and sound...please," Jisu blurted.
Tyr rushed at her and killed a zombie behind her, causing drops of blood to get onto her shirt.
"I advise you not be here...leave," Tyr harshly said.
"Tyr-"
"Go. Why would a weakling like you...even be here? I'm surprised that you're even alive after everything that's happened." Tyr cut her off.
"What happened? Are you ok?"
Tyr put his hand to his head before he dashed off again, killing zombies coming out of the treeline, more bodies being added to the count by the second.
Jisu knew she couldn't stop him. She knew it was no use to even try and help him at all. Would she just waste away with no one to admire her or even notice?
Waves and waves of zombies kept going for Tyr and at times it seemed like he would lose but that proved wrong. More came until they didn't. Tyr stepped on the last zombie a ways away and slashed it's head clean off a line of blood going into the grass. He stepped off it and moved away as Jisu slowly moved closer.
Tyr's arm dropped to his side and he looked at Jisu, slightly smiling before wobbling back and forth on his feet, dropping his katana and collapsing onto the ground.
