The team had fully assembled in the hanger of their base for the first time in almost a month. Each of the 7 members were geared up with fresh equipment and eager trigger fingers.
Tom stood on top of a truck and addressed his soldiers. "Alright everyone. Our last mission didn't go so well. But this time we will get things done quickly and successfully. Command approved a mission of propaganda. A group of German soldiers have obtained what was left of my old equipment that we had to leave behind. These soldiers are using the gear to promote that our side is losing, lets go and prove them wrong shall we?"
The team agreed loudly and boarded the small plane before them.
"Hey Tom." Johnson said. "I hear one of those Krauts collected a bounty that was placed on you. We should go help him with his fiances, shouldn't we?" Johnson laughed.
Tom slung his arm around his sniper friend. "Yes Mark, Yes we should." Tom chuckled.
Alex looked around for a moment. "Sir, where is your gun?"
Tom turned and grinned at Alex. "Just twin Eagles this time." Tom rested his hands on his hips to show a pair of nickle plated Desert Eagle pistols.
"Like I said the other day. You can't replace my old gun, especially not on an assignment so easy as this one."
They all took their seats on the small plane and strapped in as Benson glared at Tom from the opposite end of the seats.
Several hours later, the team began putting their parachutes on as Tom ogled his new helmet. It's sleek black design was similar to his old one, but noticeably lighter. He placed it over his head and felt it fasten its self to the neck armor of his suit, complacently covering his skin. He put on his parachute and walked to the door of the plane as they all stood to jump.
"Alright everyone. Time to do some wet work. We go in, I.D. the Germans, destroy my old equipment and burn everything down."
The team nodded in agreement as they did their ritual of pumping themselves up.
"30 seconds to the drop." The pilot said.
"Copy. Dropping in 30." Tom replied.
A green light turned on once the time had passed, and from the sky rained 7 metal beasts into the darkness of the night. Opening their cloth chutes, they glided silently down and abandoned the packs in some brush. They loaded their guns and prepared for their assault.
Tom pulled the slides of his pistols back to chamber a round. "Lets do this."
