Ally's POV

I watched Jeff walk off with Smile. After a while, I turned around and headed home, seeing as it was getting dark.

"I wonder what's going to happen now," I questioned, "If Zalgo is coming after me, then I need to train."

I get out of the woods and head to the house, walking in from the back door. I knew what was about to happen.

"Where have you been young lady," my mom asked.

"I was in the woods," I replied, "I guess I had lost track of time. I'm sorry."

I headed to my room after my mom gave me a nod of approval. After I shut my door I plopped down on my bed and just looked at the ceiling. I was thinking back on what happened today. It just seemed so surreal. I kept thinking on how that demonic dog looked like. It was almost like I had seen it before. Then it dawned on me. I jumped off of my bed, searching for my dream journal. As I found it, I turned to a page that I had written years ago. As I read, I realized that what I "dreamed" was actually a vision given to me by the female voice.

I kept on reading to the next dream, I read the scenario and realized that the "blue-faced eyeless creature" is Eyeless Jack. I kept re-reading the dream and I was getting shivers down my spine because I was scared out of my mind.

"I need to get in contact with EJ and tell him what's going to happen," I thought to myself, "I'll do it first thing in the morning."

~Time Skip: Next Morning~

I got up just as the sun was peeking through the blinds. I put on some warm clothes, seeing as it was cold outside, and headed into the trees. As soon as I stepped foot into the clearing I called out for EJ.

"EJ," I questioned, "EJ are you here?"

I heard leaves crunching behind me, so I turned around expecting it to be EJ but it wasn't. It was the creature depicted in my dream journal. I froze. I replayed what I read in my head.

"I am not letting EJ get hurt," I thought.

I put my hands up in a fighting stance and said, "Come at me."

It charged straight at me and I dodged to the side. I saw the stick I used yesterday and picked it up. I was ready to fight. I guess I had this really mean stare because the creature hesitated to come at me again. Now we were just standing there, staring at each other. We were waiting to see who would make the first move. We heard a branch break, breaking the silence and that made the creature launch at me. I stepped to the side with my right foot out, tripping the thing. As it hit the ground, I raised the stick up and plunged it into it's back and straight through its heart.

As I was panting, I heard clapping behind me. I turned around and I saw EJ slowly walking toward me while clapping.

"That was amazing," he said in a husky raspy voice, "Where did you learn to do that so effectively?"

"I don't know," I replied, "It was like it was second nature."

"That's very interesting," he said, "I was going to jump in when it charged at you the second time but I guess my decision to wait and watch was the right one."

He walked up to me and put his hand out for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you," he said.

I shook his hand and said, "Likewise."
