Anisah's P.O.V

I parked my car and entered the restaurant. It is very beautiful and not a lot of people come here. I sat down, waiting for Mohammad to arrive.

I looked at the watch when I felt someone stand beside me. "What would you like to start with? " The waiter asks as I look around maybe he sat down at another table waiting for me.

"I would like a glass of water, thank you." I hand him the menu. "Okay, ma'am." He says before walking away. I sighed and pulled out my phone.

"Where are you?"

"I'm almost there." He replied.

I was scrolling through my phone when I felt someone sit opposite me. I looked up and I saw my ex, Faisal. My eyes widened in shock.

He smiled at me with his pretty face. "Anisah, long time. How long has it been? 7 or 8 years?" He asks looking at me. "Um, 7 I guess," I say nervously.

"Wow, you look good. Where have you been? We just had a good relationship but you just broke up with me out of the blue." He asks placing his arms on the table.

"Yeah, I had a lot on my plate," I say glancing at the door. "Then you should've just told me." He says furrowing his eyebrows.

Yes, I did break up with Faisal because I had a lot on my plate. I did not mainly do it for that reason but he was going to be a burden.

I did sincerely love him but that is in the past.

"Well, it is the past." I smile before taking a sip of the water. He nodded weakly. "True, you're all grown up so how are you? Where are you working? Are you married?" He asks,  looking less livelier than before.

"I'm fine, I work as a real estate agent and no, I'm not married yet," I say smiling, trying to look normal as hell. "Really? But you must be dating someone?" He asks.

"Well, yeah," I say. "Enough about me, let's talk about you, my friend. Where do you work, wife, child, how's the family? All that." I ask and I clasp my hands together.

"Well, I am a businessman with my own company, I'm not married and my family are good, I guess." He says before he chuckles.

I chuckle at his joke. "Excuse me." I heard the deep, smooth, sexy voice. I looked at Mohammad who stood above us with his hands in his pocket. He wore ash sweats which looked like it was made for him.

Faisal looked at me and then at him. "Um, he's the one I'm going to meet," I say leaning backward. "Oh okay, I apologize," Faisal says standing up.

Mohammad just stood there looking at him. "We'll meet some other time I guess." He says smiling. "Yeah, I hope so," I say before he walks away.

Mohammad sat down and slumped on the chair. "Sorry for wasting your time, it is far from where I was." He says rubbing his eyes. "Okay," I say.

"I called you to converse with you on the marriage proposal. I agree." I say as he sighs. "Thank you but aren't there any papers to sign?" He asks as I pull the papers out from my bag.

"They're here but there are conditions," I say before I look at him. "Proceed." He says before closing his eyes.

"There will be no contact between us if the deal is done. You will not be meddling in my real life. Even if we separate, no more interaction like calling. No sexual interaction between us only If it is a must during the marriage."

I started the last once and he smiled. His eyes are still closed as he nods. "The rest are written below but I will only spend 6 months with you." He nods. "Okay, how much is it?" He asks.

"15 million naira," I say taking my chances. "I might not know about this but 15 million naira is outrageous." He says as I sigh.

"Sure, 10 million. Truthfully." I say before taking a sip of water. "Sure, is that it?" He asks. "Yeah,  you'll only read the other conditions," I say sliding the paper to him.

He opened his eyes as he took the paper, reading it. The waiter came to Mohammad who was reading. "What will you be having, sir?" The waiter asks and he places the paper down.

He took the menu, checking it. "This whole side will do." He says. "Okay, sir." The waiter says before walking away with the menus.

He took the pen and signed the papers. "So, you will send the papers about how you want me to act and everything about you."

I say taking the papers.  "Yeah, I would need a copy of this contract and I will send the papers to you. Most probably tomorrow."

He says looking around the restaurant. "is it your first time here?" I ask trying to divert and know how he acts. "Yes, I never thought it would be like this." He says.

I nod, speechless as he stood up. "I wish I could stay but I'm busy, have a good day," He says and walks away. How he walks is attractive.

I sigh, taking my phone. I looked up as I saw him walk out. I looked beside me when the waiter approached my table with a trolley full of food. He starts placing the dishes carefully. "I didn't order this".

"The gentleman you sat with ordered and has already paid for it." The waiter says as I sigh.

"Could you just package everything up for me?" I say keeping my phone in my bag.

"Sure, ma'am." He says before placing the dishes back on the trolley. I hope Hadiza hasn't made dinner.
