I sit on the bed as I look at Mohammad who's reading. He seemed engrossed in the book. I had questions swarming all over my head.

Why does he hate his own brother? What happened? What did Ismail mean by 'He took his wife away'?

I sigh feeling curious about this, I have never felt like this in any of my jobs. "I have a question to ask you?" I ask looking at Mohammad. He keeps his book to look at me.

"What is it?" He asks. "It seems like I'm meddling but why do you hate Sadeeq?" I ask.

"I don't hate him, I just don't understand why he is like that. He is twisted and insecure." He says shaking his head. "What exactly happened?" I ask turning my whole body to his direction.

"It is not important." He turns his head away. "Mohammad, please tell me." I say placing my hand on his arm. "I really want to know." I plead as he sighs.

"Since we were small, Sadeeq never really liked me especially when he realized that the company would be handed to me. His jealousy turned to hatred."

He takes a deep breath. "He would do anything just to mess up my life. It started little from making my father getting angry at me to destroying my investment deals. I lost a lot of money. I had to redo a year in the university because of him. Later on, he said that he wanted to get married to a girl he has been dating since they were in school. We really thought that he has changed."

His eyes fixated on the window. "We got them married and everything was going well for a couple of months until we heard that he stopped her family from coming to visit her. We went to check and she was unrecognizable. She has turned skinny and had beat up wounds all over. She was pregnant but she had a miscarriage due to his domestic abuse."

He clenches his jaw. "I had to act so I used the company to make him divorce her. She had to leave. I told him that if he doesn't divorce her, I will kick him out of the company and I would gather everyone's vote. Of course he signed and I sent him abroad for rehabilitation. I was told he never went so that is why he blames me for all of this."

"I really thought he was an angel, like the nicest guy in the house but he is the most evil." I scoff in disbelief.

"Be careful with him. He is cunning and dangerous."

"He made a....his wife lose her baby. Where is she now?"

I ask looking at him. "The last I heard was she got married."

"Thank god, she might move on."

"Just be careful. I am not always around." He keeps his book on the night stand. "I will, I have goosebumps all over right now." I mutter as he stood up with his pillow.

"Where are you going?" I ask. "To the couch." He says and I nod. "Why don't you just sleep on the bed?" I ask not looking at him. "Nah, I'm fine with sleeping on the couch. Thanks though." He says smiling at me a bit.
**********

I walk down the stairs holding some files for Mohammad. "When will you be coming back?" I say as he opened the door to go out. "Maybe 8pm." He says looking for something in his files.

"If you married your girlfriend, she would've died of boredom." I say in a low tone and he chuckled. "I will be going for a football match with my friends." He notifies me.

"I would want to see how you would fail woefully."

"I thought you would be cheering."

"Not at all, it would be a good view of you failing. I'll video tape it."

He nods as he cap turns the wrong way. "Your cap, I'll adjust it." I say before i stood at the door way so I could get a bit taller. I adjust it properly when I heard ismail's voice.

"You're going to work? I'll meet you up there later." Sadeeq says as I roll my eyes. Mohammad just ignored him. "I will be back then I'll pick you up at 5pm." Mohammad says looking at me.

"Okay." Mohammad turned to leave. "Wait." He turns around to face me. "You forgot something." I walk closer to him, tucking my veil behind my ear. "What is it?" I stand in front of him, tiptoeing as I kiss him. It felt necessary.

I feel his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him. His kiss deepens, I wrap my arms around his neck. My body seemed like it's going to merge with his, I pull away with a smile plastered on my face.

"You should go, you'll be late." I suggest still holding me in his arms. He releases me, the corner of his lips creeping up to a smirk. "Okay, see you soon." He says casually before walking to his car.

I waited till he left the premises then I went in. I see Ismail and I act shocked. I gasp, placing my hand on my chest and stepped a few steps back. I sigh, realizing it's him. "You scared me."

He stood there with his arms crossed, looking at me. "Sorry." He says simply and I nod. "Were you there when....?" I trail off, he nods.

I shake my head, fixing my eyes on the floor. "I find a way to embarrass myself one way or the other."

"It's alright, you are married. So, do you want me to cook for us?" He tries to change the subject.

"Nope, I am going to sleep upstairs. I'm tired. 'I mean, my head hurts. I need to sleep." I  walk to the stairs. "Thanks." I wave at him, dropping the act.

I knew he was watching, I know what I meant with every statement. I couldn't just turn my back on him, it would seem fishy so it is better I do it slowly.

I enter my room and took a deep breath. I would have never thought that people like Mohammad had this much problems in their household until I started this job. It has its flaws. I shrug jumping on the bed.
**********

I wore my jeans, black shirt, bolero, flat shoe and a veil. I sat down on the bleachers, watching Mohammad and his friends playing football.

I never knew he liked football, I thought he is the basketball type of guy. There were other people around but Mohammad's field is bigger.

I cheered when Jabir's team won. So far the score is 2-3, Mohammad's team are ahead with one score. I continue watching how they kept on playing.

Mansur is the goal keeper of Jabir's, Hasneem is the goal keeper of the other team.

"Anisah?" I hear someone call my name, I snap my head to the direction I heard it from when I see Faisal who stood looking at me. "Faisal." I smile forcefully. "How are you doing? We meet again, coincidentally." He sits beside me as I take a glance at the field, the guys stopped playing looking at us.

Shit.

"I'm fine." I say and he nods. "What brings you here?" He asks. "Well, I....". I start. "Everything okay?" I hear Mohammad's voice. He stands in front of the bleachers, looking at us. "Nothing, I'm just chatting with a friend."

"You're familiar, have we met before?" Mohammad asks, still trying to remember. "

"What's going on?" Jabir asks as I sigh. "Nothing. Faisal this is my husband, Mohammad."

"Mohammad this is Faisal, my friend." I officially introduce them. "Well, ex." Faisal adds, making Mohammed slightly smile.

"Shall we continue playing?"

Jabir asks looking at all of us. "Sure, would you like to join?" Mohammad asks Faisal who seems a bit annoyed at Mohammad. "Sure." Faisal shrugs.

"Great, let's get started then." I stand up, walking down the stairs to Mohammed. Faisal head to the field while I hand water to Mohammed.

"You don't like him?" I point out which makes him scoff while he gulps his water. I sigh, crossing my arms. "Are you going to team up against him?"

He glances at the field. "No, we're going to play football. Fair and square." I cross my arms. "Please don't be rash, he's really my friend."

He cups my cheeks. "Football is brutal sometimes, but that's what we love about it."

"Please don't." I insist as he lightly kisses me on the cheek. "Okay, wish me luck." I hope he doesn't hurt himself and faisal. He won't , he doesn't so things like that.
