I could not help but chuckle silently. "I know how to flirt, let me show you." Muwaffaq says and he sat down on the chair beside me.
"I don't know what to say but......". He went silent as everyone erupted to laughter including me. "Like you can do it better." Muwaffaq says to the fair guy.
"Abdulaziz, show him how to do it." Mohammad says and Abdulaziz sat where Muwaffaq sat. "Okay, if you are uncomfortable, tell me." Abdulaziz says first.
I like this guy already. "Okay. You're perfect but there is only one thing, you're not with me." He says when I smile. "Two. You're a broom because you just swept me off my feet." He adds and I laugh, closing my mouth with my hand.
"You're good." I say looking at Mohammad who just smiled weakly. "Well, it's nothing." Abdulaziz says raising his hands. "How is Ibrahim and his village wife?"
Mohammad asks Abdulaziz as Abdulaziz stood up. "They good. Why are you asking?" He says. "Is he still working everything out with her?" Mohammad asks him. "Yeah, perfectly. I heard he slept with her at last."
He said when I suddenly felt uncomfortable. "Really? He was complaining about it before. Ibrahim follows anything that has a skirt." Mohammad says looking at Abdulaziz.
Abdulaziz laughed hardly. "I'm telling him that." Abdulaziz says. "Have you seen sadeeq?" Mohammad asks Abdulaziz.
"Nah, haven't seen him since yesterday." Abdulaziz says taking his phone. "Okay, excuse me." Mohammad says before standing up.
He walks away into a room. "So, you're dating him?" Abdulaziz asks using his phone. "Well, you can say that." I say as he raise his head up to look at me.
"Are you really dating or not?" He asks to confirm. "Yes, we are." Mohammad says walking towards the chair I am sitting. "Are we?" I ask and he nods.
"Really? Why are you telling me this now?" Abdulaziz says keeping his phone by his side. "Just wanted to keep it on the low." Mohammad says before he sat down beside me.
I clear my throat. "What's wrong?" Mohammad asks. "I thought we would keep this a secret only after you come to ask for my hand in marriage." I act pissed off.
'I know but he's my friend." Mohammad acts too. "I mean no offense but I don't want people knowing." I say crossing my arms on my chest.
Abdulaziz just sat down looking at us. "Okay, fine. I will not tell anyone about our relationship." He says, holding my hand and looking into my eyes.
I wouldn't say it was awkward but it is. "Can you just stop this love show?" Abdulaziz says looking weirded out. "Why? This is our house." Mohammad says with a smile.
"Then I am leaving it for you, creep." Abdulaziz says standing up. "I am still wondering why girls like you? No offense.....?" Abdulaziz asks. "Anisah." I answer, my head leaning on my palm.
"Prepare to go through hell with this ...man." Abdulaziz says before walking out with his ridiculous shirt of pokèman. There was one thing I had to sacrifice when I started doing this job.
I see men differently now. "Why did you say we are dating, isn't he your friend?" I say looking at him. "Well, he doesn't have to know. Less people, safer business." He says typing on his phone.
"Okay, what about the mechanic?" I ask looking at my watch. "He's not here yet, he'll call or I will be informed if he comes." He says and kept his phone.
"I know you are not comfortable with guys only around." He says looking at me. "Yeah.' I reply weakly, looking at my hands.
The door opened when both of us looked at the door. A woman came in obviously one of their girlfriends.
"Babe." She says to Mohammad who looked up at her. She was around 5.6ft, fair, beautiful and has an average weight. She glared at me.
"Who is she?" She asks, glaring at me intensely. I didn't recognize that we were a bit too close. "We have to talk, come on." He says standing up.
I sat there looking at the show. He walked to a room as she followed, looking at me.
I bring out my phone, scrolling it. "No! No way! Why?! I am close to your mom." She shouts from the room. I wasn't smiling or anything because I am used to it.
It always happens. "That wench?! She looks like a roach compared to me! I thought you loved me?!" She shouted and Jabir came out of the room.
"What is going on? Who is shouting again?" He says from the stairs. "Some girl, maybe a friend of Mohammad's." I say, filing my nails.
"Wow, it is usually me but please tell her to keep it down some people are trying to take a nap." He says. "Sure." I reply when the door they were in swung open.
I could hear her footsteps. She stood to look me, shooting glares. "You are not getting away with this." She says and walks out, slamming the door.
I look at the door as Mohammad came out of the room with his hands in his pocket, walking normally. "I apologise for the noise, she is just exaggerating." He says sitting down.
"She's not, she must've had hopes that she's going to get married to you but then I take it away from her. Delaying the wedding at our perspective, hers is that you're gone forever."
I say taking a deep breath. "You seem pretty used to this." He says. "Well, if you get married to 7 men with girlfriends, you get used to it." I say shrugging.
"Oga! The mechanic don come." The gate man shouts from outside. "This guy needs to learn common sense. He has a phone, call, not shouting from outside. Well, you will be gone in 30 tops. Excuse me."
He says standing up. He gets out of the house to meet the mechanic. This guy might just be my best client yet.
