Mohammad's Point of view
I throw myself on the couch, feeling guilty for making Anisah sleep in a house full of guys. It was not like she was saying I told you so over and over nor was she shouting or anything.
I couldn't help but feel worse. I feel really irritated by these sacks of beans who sat watching. "What are you thinking about?" Muwaffaq says nudging me a bit.
"I'm not in the mood to talk to you imbeciles." I say not bothering to look at him. Hasneem just laid down sleeping on the couch, snoring a bit.
"Look at him." I say looking at how he threw his legs all over the couch. "What? There was a time you did that when your girlfriend came. What was her name again?" Muwaffaq says and I glare at him.
"Um, Hasna, right? It doesn't matter since you're married now." Muwaffaq says shrugging his shoulder. "Yo, bro! I didn't know you came." Jabir walking towards the parlor with a blanket over his shoulder, wearing boxers and a vest.
"What are you wearing?" I ask looking at him with no surprise. Jabir is the craziest amongst us. He walks naked sometimes when he feels like disturbing us but when he goes out, he is a different person.
We are all close friends who kinda grew up together. I appreciate that.
He looks at his clothes before he burst into laughter. "You are acting like you are not used to this." He says sitting beside me. "Wear something, my wife is here." I say not smiling and he sits up right.
"Wow, i would really need to see that woman." Jabir comments when I heard light footsteps and Anisah appeared. All eyes turned to her but she just smiled uneasily then walked away.
"She's the one?" Jabir asks looking at her still as I kick him with my leg. "Stop looking at her." I warn and he stood up. "Calm down, you are my brother. I'm not going to go after your girl." Jabir reassures me, adjusting the blanket placed over his shoulder.
"Then go wear something, maybe trousers." I suggest standing up too. "Okay, goodnight." Jabir takes a deep breath. "And no one should enter my room, she's in there." I warn them again.
"Okay, okay. We got you." Muwaffaq says smiling but I was still not convinced. "Goodnight folks." Jabir adds walking away and I head to the kitchen.
Anisah sat on the chair, scrolling through her phone while she drank a cup of water. I thought she was munching on something good.
"What are you doing?" I ask trying to make a conversation. "Chatting and drinking water." I open the fridge, bringing out a box of strawberries.
She glanced at me then looked away. I sit down opposite her, sliding it to her. She looked at me before taking one. "Thanks.' She takes a bite.
"I apologize again for making you stay here for the night."
"It's alright, we are leaving tomorrow besides what will complaining fix?" She shrugs, looking back at her phone.
I smiled a bit at her words. "But you need to lock your door when you're going to sleep and don't open it up for anyone if not me." I say to her so she would be on alert.
"I know, stop worrying. Oh and if it is so I would like you, it is not working at all." She teases sliding the strawberries back at me. "I forgot about that." I say as she scoffs.
"Yeah, sure. Good night." She walks ut of the kitchen. I take a piece of strawberry, leaving the kitchen. I walk to the parlor and met the guys occupying the chairs.
"I was planning on sleeping here." I inform them, Hasneem rubs his eyes. "Well, it is taken as you can see."
"Then give me your room key, please." I say when Jabir hits my hand. "You can get it when you reach over here which I know you wouldn't." He points to his boxers.
"Disgusting, are you gay?" I ask as Jabir laughs hardly. "No. We just want you to spend time with your lovely wife. I mean there is no harm in that." Hasneem teases with a smirk across his face.
Whenever he knows you can't do a thing or he wins, he does that.
"What are you saying exactly?" I ask crossing my arms. "Go spend time with your wife in bed, you want it. That much is obvious." They clap each other's hands.
I look at them in disbelief, I don't really blame them but I feel guilty hiding it from them. Only Ismail knows about this.
"I mean, why are you still here? Look at her, bruh! Thee is nothing to think about twice." Jabir says and I nod. "Now, just clear out of the way." They all look at me.
"Fine, since you want it the hard way. I tried." I say as I hold Jabir by the shirt he wore surprisingly.
********I pant while I looked at the ceiling on the floor. Having three guys who go to the gym gang up on you isn't easy. I almost got it but then I lost it because of Jabir.
"Now you've wasted some energy in you so you won't be very effective." Muwaffaq says. Does that mean that I really have to go then? How can they force me to go there.
It is not going to be terrible to go to her.
I stand up, adjusting my shirt. "I'll make sure you regret this." I say before i walk up the stairs.
Anisah's P.O.V.
I heard a knock on the door while I scrolled through my phone. I walk to the door and peeked just to see Mohammad. What is he doing here? I ask to myself before i opened the door.
"Hey." He says not looking at me. "What is it?' I ask crossing my arms. "Can I crash here, the guys took downstairs."
It sounded fishy, way hella fishy but this is his room. "Sure." I say opening the door and I walked to the bed. "There are no couches like that house so...". I trailed off as Mohammad nods.
"I'll just sleep here." He says siting on the one seater. "Come on, you're making me look and feel bad." I say taking a deep breath.
"Never mind me." He says without looking at me. "I seriously can't let you sleep there, it's too small for a person. Even for me , it is small."
"The bed is not big but we can manage it better than you managing that chair." I lay down feeling nervous as hell to sleep so close to him. Every atom in my body screaming, warning me
I feel him laying down when I felt his hard chest pressed to my back, his cologne suffocating me. It 'em weird but I feel a certain amount of safety which was comforting. I close my eyes so I could sleep.
