I take a deep breath, thinking hard about my surgery. Its today and I have a plan but I'm skeptical about it.

"Are you ready?" Hasneem asks standing by my door. He's wearing scrubs, crossing his arms.

"No, I don't even know what I am going to do." I stand up, adjusting my clothes.

"Just follow my lead. It will all go well." He advises, Hasneem has always been calm.

"I need to take a photo in this scrubs. It makes me look refined." I take my phone so I could take a picture. I need to send it to my siblings and Mohammed. He smiles, hanging his head.

"Okay, be out in ten." Hasneem adds before walking out. I take a few pictures, reviewing them. I slide through the pictures as I hear a knock on the door. I don't raise my head up, my eyes still on my phone.

"Yes, what can I help you with?" I raise my head when I see Ismail standing by the door with his hands in his pocket.

I feel a pang on my chest but I act cool. "You look better than the last time I saw you." He mocks me.

"What are you doing here? You know what, I'm not interested so just out of my office." I walk to my table, hanging my coat and keeping my phone. "After what happened the last time, I just can't get you out of my head. Especially when you put on this brave act, it makes me...horny." He sits down, looking at me.

He seems to be enjoying this.

I don't look his way, I continue getting ready. "Suit yourself." I walk towards the door when he steps in front of me. I halt before I run into him.

"Can you step aside? I have things to do." I make sure I put on my stoic expression. He looks at me for a few seconds with a faint smile plastered on his face as his eyes glosses over me from head to toe.

He steps aside, letting me pass. "I'll see you soon."

"No, you won't." I walk out of the office with my head held up high. I push the button of the elevator, it's swishes open. I step in, thanking god I'm the only one. The minute it swishes closed, I lose my balance, leaning on the rail.

I take deep breaths and raise my hand to see it shaking rigorously. I close my eyes, taking deep breaths as I regain my balance. I needed to get away from that floor, the lust in his eyes alone was enough to throw me off. I arrive at the floor, the door swishing open.

I see hasneem talking to another doctor. I rush out, walking to him. "Afternoon." I smile at the doctor before looking at hasneem. "Afternoon, you must be the new doctor I heard about? Welcome and goodluck."

"Thank you, can I steal him for a second please?" The dark skinned doctor shrugs. "Sure, see you later." He walks away, making sure his far enough.

"Ismail came by my office." Hasneem furrows his brows. "He didn't do anything to you, right?" I shake my head. "Wait in my office, I'll be back."

He turns. "Where are you going?"

"To check up on a few things."

"You're going to confront him, you're surgery is in like five minutes or so." I look at my wrist watch. "I'll make it work." He walks to the elevator as I head to his office.

I enter his office, shocked at the state of his office. It's really clean and neat, I'm a woman yet his is way cleaner than mine. He definitely has OCD. I sit on the pure white sofa, waiting anxiously.

I feel safer with hasneem, Sadiq and Mohammed around. I hear a knock on the door ad my body tensed up. "It's Sadiq." He opens the door, stepping in.

I sigh in relief, letting out a chuckle. "You scared me a bit." He smiles. "Shall we? Mohammed asked me to get you back home."
