Onyx Hill
As we flew away from the fight Kodiak neighed up to me The camp is not too far away but before we get help to save Kestrel, we need to train "ok, I'll tell Dakota" I turn around and yell to her,
"Kodiak knows where the camp is, but he says that before we can save Kestrel we have to train to be better fighters." Her face looks crestfallen, "But Onyx! I can't wait that long, I have to save her!"
"Look maybe if we train just a little, but enough to be safe with weapons we can sneak out and save her."
"How long will that take? I need to make sure she is ok."
"I don't know, but Kodiak says the camp director is very considerate."
"Ok... But what if she is gone by the time we get to her!?"
"We'll figure it out when we get there." As I glanced back to make sure she was ok, I could see tears streaming down her face.
"Hey it's going to be ok, oh um Kodiak is there an oath for promises?"
yes, there is, it is I swear on the river Styx.
"Ok, then I swear on the River Styx that we will figure this out!!"
She sighed and wiped her tears from her face, "I guess that's good enough, for now.."
"Kodiak how far now?" we are almost there "ok, thanks"
We soon see what looks like a forest encircled by a moat, Kodiak says that it is our destination. We land on the outside of the moat and a drawbridge opens automatically when we walk over to it, as we emerge on the other side we see a big house and cabins lining the yard and in the center of everything, there was a big fire pit and pavilion.
Behind everything, I caught a glimpse of a sandpit with a climbing wall in the middle of it. We saw lots of kids running around in armor and with swords. We gasp when six Pegasi come flying out of what looked like stables, Kodiak inhaled sharply and said, "Onyx, and Dakota welcome to Camp Wisteria, my and soon to be your home." "Kodiak this... this is amazing" Dakota says.
"I know, Kodiak is that ok if I go get food?"My belly grumbles and I blush.
Ha, your gonna have to wait till the feast tonight. It's in about half an hour so you'll live.
Dakota wanders off to find the camp director or counselor. Meanwhile, I walk up to a Satyr that looks like he's in charge (because he was yelling at a bunch of Nymphs) and said: "Hey umm me and my friend Dakota are new here and we would like to know what cabin we are in."
The Satyr replies in a gruff but friendly voice, "Well I'm afraid that's not how it works you need to be claimed by your godly parent which will most likely happen at dinner tonight by the way I am Coach Birk and welcome to Camp Wisteria." He adds "dinner is almost ready, for now, you can go to the dining pavilion."
I thanked him and me and Kodiak followed after Dakota to find the camp director.
