I was very much aware of the arms wrapped around me, along with knowing who it was holding me.

I shifted wrapping my own arms around Kaldur.

He groaned softly and his grip on me tightened.

A cry of pain left my lips and Kaldur shot awake. "Percy? Are you okay?"

"Yes, I am okay. Perhaps loosen your grip a tad."

"I was so worried. You- you lost so much blood." He mumbled.

"It's not the worst injury I've had."

"Is that supposed to make me worry less?" Kaldur raised an eyebrow. "Because telling me that has the opposite affect."

He sat up and gathered me into his arms.

I rolled my eyes. "You are such an idiot."

"I find it funny that you only say this when we are on land. You have no complaints about it when we are at home."

"I'm sorry. We are currently in a place where there is a strict no boy and girl in the same cabins unless they are born to the same parent and aside from the Team and Will no one else knows the truth about us."

"And whose fault is that?"

I swallowed. "Do you know what they would say if they knew? They avoided me due to me being a child of Poseidon, so what would they do if they discovered I was not a surface dweller?"

"I do not know many demigods, but Beckendorf was more than prepared to accept you for who you are. He was not upset at you keeping this information from him and neither was Will."

"I still do not want to risk it, Kaldur." I leaned against him. "Purists hate us, despite us all being Atlanteans. We both know there is a rift between us and Earthers."

"You are not wrong, but surely among your fellow demigods you would be accepted."

"What did I just say? They avoided me when I was claimed."

Kaldur did not reply to that. We sat there until he let go of me and stood up.

"Perhaps we should take a walk so you may clear your mind."

"Do you think I can?"

"Taking the blood transfusion and the godly food and drink you were given into consideration, I do not believe light excercise will invite any harm."

"If I get hurt, I am telling Will to yell at you." I said, getting up.

"If you get hurt, I am getting more than an earful from Mother." Kaldur sighed.

I rolled my eyes and put on a new shirt and pulled my jacket on. I pulled on my shoes and walked to the door.

Before I could open it, there was a knock. I opened the door and the Team pushed into the cabin.

"Okay, time for some explanations." Artemis crossed her arms.

I sighed and shut the door. "On what parts do you require an explanation?"

"Oh, I don't know. The part where you're twins?!"

My eyes widened and I hushed her. "Please do not yell. No one here knows  what I am and I do not wish for them to find out."

"I still want an explanation."

"We were born on August eighteenth three hours apart. Which is oddly far apart for twins but we assume Percy liked the extra space." Kaldur said.

"You're seriously asking about them being twins when we've thought they've been dating?" Wally asked.

I pressed my lips together and cast a quick glance at Kaldur. "Plan Theta. We've used it before. It's really funny to do, and a lot easier to pull on you guys than it is on fellow Atlanteans."

"And what about the tattoo thing?" Connor looked at me.

I shrugged. "We do not know what allows us to do that. It may be that we are twins or it may be that I'm a demigod. Or both."

"Yeah, but what's it do?"

Kaldur grabbed my hand and his anxiety added onto mine.

"No offense but we were going to go on a walk. So if you excuse us, I would like to get some excercise before Will tries to tie me to a bed again. Or sedates me."

I pulled Kaldur out of the cabin and through camp.

"I think this should be far enough Percy."

I shook my head. "I need to talk to you, away from where others might overhear us."

That is how we ended up outside of camp and sitting on a fallen tree. Kaldur was out of breath.

"How much blood did Will take?" I asked.

"Almost more than he felt comfortable taking."

I didn't say anything for a while and neither did Kaldur. Eventually I broke the silence.

"Do you think Tula would be comfortable taking my place on the Team?"

"Why?"

"I have no reason to ask, aside from curiosity. I mean, if I ever stopped being a hero I would want someone watching your back."

"We both know you will not give up being a hero."

"Yes, but...I am not only talking about retiring from my mantle." The other possibility hung heavy on my heart and I refused to look at Kaldur.

"Will told me."

"Huh?" I looked at him.

He sighed and looked at me. "He told me that when you were here for that week, you were under suicide watch."

"Because they made me be. Killing myself has not crossed my mind."

"That's weird. Will told me that you said something similar to him and that it was a lie."

My mouth went dry. I stared at the ground.

There was silence.

"You have no idea what I went through, Kaldur."

"I think we can change that." A voice laughed and before I knew it, I was on the ground my vision fading.

I could hear a struggle and I prayed to every god I could think of that Kaldur would win.

Either they didn't hear me or they didn't care because the last thing I saw was his body hitting the dirt.
