Chapter 13: The Danger of dealing with Kalirea Chance

Kalirea's POV

I went home after hearing what Eleven had to say. I don't know what to do with that information.

I don't even know why they have to keep that as a secret.

Kinuha ko ang phone ko at tinignan ang conversation namin ni Marco.

It has been a full week since di siya nagpaparamdam sa amin. Night shift ako pero sinasabi sa akin ni Mam Kate na absent si Marco araw araw. Message ako ng message sa kanya pero walang reply na bumabalik. Tawag nga ako ng tawag pero nakapatay ata ang phone niya. Bahala siya, matanda na siya.

Umiglip ako saglit bago naghanda na pumasok sa trabaho.

Naalala ko tuloy na tuwing night shift ako, ihahatid ako ni Marco dahil gabi na. Whatever, matanda naman na ako. Kaya ko na ang sarili ko.

Lumabas na ako ng condo at bumaba sa parking lot. Medyo kinilabutan ako dahil wala nang tao at puro kotse nalang ang nandito.

While walking to my car, I really felt uneasy. Like I was being watched. Maybe that's just me, baka masyado lang akong kinakabahan kaya kung ano ano na ang naiisip ko.

Nang mahanap ko ang kotse ko, pumasok ako agad at nagdrive palabas ng condo. Nagdrive na ako papunta sa hospital but while I was driving, I realized something...

I thought I was hallucinating, so I had to stop my car.

I opened the trunk of my car where I heard a laugh.

I was taken aback when I saw a doll...with blood all over it.

I was too terrified that I couldn't move anymore and I couldn't think anymore.

I'm not that kind of person who yells when afraid but this time I yelled. I screamed for help. I never felt so scared before.

A few people crowd around me and was terrified of what they saw.

"Miss anong nangyare?" a man asked

"H-Hindi ko alam! On the way na ako sa work but then I started hearing laughter. I thought...I was hallucinating. I checked my trunk and saw this" I explained

"Miss, tumawag ka na ba ng pulis?" tanong ng babaeng kasama nung lalaki

"I was too scared...I forgot to call the cops"

"Sige miss, ako na ang tatawag. Kumalma ka lang" sabi ng babae

Pamilyar ang boses ng babae, pakiramdam ko kilala ko siya pero hindi ko na maalala.

The police finally arrived at naginvestigate.

"Are you sure na hindi ikaw ang gumawa nito?" tanong ng pulis

"Sa tingin mo gagawin ko sa sarili ko to?! Tanga ka ba?! I hate dolls! Especially that kind of doll. Why the heck would I do this to myself when I know I'll hate it? At may trabaho ako! Do you think may oras pa ako para gawin yan? Wala pa nga akong tulog!" Sigaw ko sa police officer

"Naninigurado lang" sagot pa ng police officer

Napairap nalang ako sa inis.

"May kilala ka ba na may galit sayo? O may kilala ka ba na pwedeng gawin to sayo?" tanong ng police officer

"Wala. I don't know anyone who hates me, wala naman akong ginagawang masama sa kahit sino." Sabi ko sa police office, I looked at the officer's face at namukhaan siya. Siya yung may hawak sa case ni Xyrene
