Chapter 30: Truth or Die
Marco's point of view
The man with a creepy mask bought us to the garden, I looked at my clock and it was 8:30 pm. It's already dark and only the light from the bonfire was the only thing that we could see.
Kalirea was separated from us and I'm so worried about her. Paano nalang kung may mangyare sa kanya at wala ako?
Pinaupo kami paikot sa bonfire. Katabi ko si Melo at si Eleven, habang si Esran naman at Alystra ang magkatabi. We don't know what was about to happen but one thing is for sure, something bad is going to happen.
Habang patagal na patagal kami nakaupo, parami ng parami ang mga lalaking nakamaskara ang dumadating.
Then, the clock hits nine.
A man with a wolf mask put out the fire on the bonfire. He took out a knife from his pocket and pointed at us.
"Let's get to know each other, shall we?" sabi nito, ramdam ko ang ngisi niya sa likod ng mga maskara
"Let's play truth or die"
Suddenly we were tied into our chairs, and our hands and feet are tied together.
"Anong ginagawa niyo sa amin?!" Alystra yelled
"HOI" Esran shouted
"The game is simple, tell the truth or die. If you can't answer in 5 seconds, that means you choose death" The man with the wolf mask said
"This is stupid! Let us out!" Melo yelled and did everything he can to untie the rope.
"Do you want to save the girl inside the mansion? Then you better cooperate" he said
"ANONG GAGAWIN NIYO SA KANYA?!"
"The mansion is like an oven, the longer she stays in that place, the hotter it will get. Hot just enough to cook her alive" The man said and laugh hysterically
"Mga walang hiya kayo" Eleven said
"If you want her out of there, then you better play the game." The man said
"Fine, let's start this stupid game of yours." I said out of frustration
"Marco! Nasisiraan ka na ba?" Alystra yelled
"Gusto mo na naman bang may mamatay nang dahil sayo?" Esran said at natahimik lang si Alystra.
"Why don't we start it from this pretty lady," The man said and went towards Alystra, he pointed his knife into her neck. Alystra couldn't move because of that
"Now, truth or die?" The man asked
"T-Truth..." Alystra stuttered
The man laughed again
"Totoo bang may balak kang patayin si Xyrene noon?" The man asked
Bakas sa mukha ni Alystra ang kaba at gulat. Kami rin ay nagulat sa tanong ng lalaki

Palapit nang palapit ang kutsilyo sa kanyang leeg
"3" The knife is now touching her neck
"ALYSTRA JUST ANSWER IT" sigaw ni Eleven

"OO! Oo nagtangka akong patayin si Xyrene!" sabi ni Alystra
