Amelia groaned as she heard her alarm clock go off, She rolled over and turned it off with a groan escaping her lips as she got out of bed, She brushed her teeth and combed her hair; Putting it in a ponytail and getting dressed in a pair of black leggings, A plum  cami-blouse and brown booties, She paired it with a cream colored cardigan as she sprayed her perfume and headed downstairs

"Morning dad, Why aren't you at work?" Amelia asked as she walked to the table where her dad was

"Morning love bug. I'm off today, Your mother went in though" he explained drinking his coffee

"Oh okay" she said lowly as she nodded

"So, You and Aaron are hanging out since he's back huh" he said as he read the paper

"Uh yeah, We're gonna get some lunch later...Why?" She asked squinting her eyes at him

"Well, Do you like him still?" He asked as he met her gaze

"Why does that even matter? I can't date anyone in their twenties anyway" she said as she stood up from the table, She didnt know why that came out of her mouth, But she couldn't unsay it now

"If you are referring to Maddox he is not relevant Amelia" her dad said looking up at her

"But Aaron is?" She asked looking away from him

"What i mean is, If you wanted to date Aaron that would be fine because i know him" he sighed as he looked back at the paper in his hand

"Well i don't dad" she said curtly as she got a bottle of water; Slamming the fridge shut,

"Do not say that name ever again, Do you think I was happy when I found out what he did? I was fucking furious, I wanted him dead! I thought I could trust him" he said as he stood from the table, No longer calm

"Why? Because he was your friend's son?" She asked lowly as tears started to fall

"Because he hurt my little girl, I hate that son of a bitch. Believe me when i say he won't be coming back" he said with tears in his eyes

"...But you didn't believe me...Why?" she whispered as she looked down at the ground

"I'm sorry Lili...Am" he said in a sob as he walked to her, She slowly backed away as she looked at him

"Please dont hate me Lia" he addef in a whisper

"...I dont hate you dad, I could never hate you" she spoke as she slowly walked over and hugged him

"I'm so sorry Lia...So sorry, I promised you that I'd always believe you..And I never meant to go back on that" he whispered as he held her tight

"I know It's not your fault, I'm sorry too dad"

She spoke as she cried on his shoulder

"Don't be sorry sweetie, You did nothing" he said as he kissed her forehead.

Amelia and her dad were watching tv when they heard a horn outside of their house

"That's Aaron, I'll see you later dad" she said kissing his cheek

"Alright love bug" he said as she left,

As she walked to Aaron's truck she remembered how Maddox reacted the last time she was with Aaron

'He probably wouldn't like this...But he isn't home so why does it matter" she thought as she looked over to his house to see his truck was gone, She hopped into Aaron's truck as he smiled

"Yo chickpea, You ready?" Aaron asked as he backed out of the driveway

"Yep" she answered popping the 'p'

"So i was thinking we go to tgi fridays, I remember you used to love that place" he spoke as she buckled in

"Still do...Sounds like fun" she spoke as she smiled at him

"Cool...You look nice by the way" he spoke as he glanced over at her

"Oh...Thank you" she said looking down at her lap

"Don't be shy around me Lia...Please" he said as he rubbed her back.
