"Babe, can you tell me about your ex?" My boyfriend stopped from eating because of my sudden question.
He then cleared his throat and faced me.
"Well, she's a nice person." He lowered down his head a little bit.
"What else?" My voice almost cracked.
"She's beautiful. Everything about her is so perfect." He sounded so proud and I couldn't help not to feel jealous.
Tears started to form at the edge of my eyes and an excruciating pain reigned my chest.
"And then?"
"Everything is so perfect not until..."
"Not until what?" My voice raised and it cracked.
"Not until I came out to the picture and ruined everything?" I raised my voice this time and suddenly, tears came out from eyes.
"N-No... it's not what I meant, love!"
I am now panting.
"Yes, you meant that way! You just love me because you couldn't have her back!"
He was about to touch me but I shoved his hands away.

And suddenly, his phone rang and I saw his ex's name on the screen. He just stared at me and he's in confusion whether he will accept the call or not.
I cleared my parched throat and faced him with teary eyes.
"Answer that call and let's break up," I said seriously.
It took him a couple of minutes but he ended answering the call.
My eyes started to get wet and my heart clenched.
Soon as the call ended, I faced him.
"For one last time, Edward. Can you tell me about your ex?"
He stared at me and he then bowed down his head.
"I still love her. I'm sorry..."
