Kiba:
I jumped from tree branch to tree branch with Yumi still unconcious on my back. I looked back at her. She whimpered quietly in her sleep. 'I wonder what could be going on in her mind?' I thought.
Yumi:
I watched the white snake with the purple eye markings coil around the gates. There was a purple aurora around it. Its chakra felt.... familiar. It looked at me as if it knew me and then greyed into a strong stone statue keeping the twin gates locked, keeping the tailed beast locked away. I fell to my knees trembling. I didn't remember much, but I knew the reason I was her. I knew I'd fallen vulnerable to temptation of using its power again. I looked at my hands and wimpered quietly. 'Why was I so weak?' I wondered. I closed my eyes, the gates disapeared and I opened my eyes.
"We're here" I heared someone say. I heared a gate open and cheering. My eyes fluttered open and I saw that the forest was behind us.
"Nice that you kids made it" I heard a familiar voice say. I blinked rapidly and everything started to make sence. We were out of the forest, the 2nd part of the join exams was over, Kiba had my on his back which was akward, all of our fellow chunin exams were here as well as our jonin sensei's, and again Kiba was carrying me on his back. 'Oh my fudge this so akward'
"Oh your up" Kiba noticed, and gently put my down. I think the worse part was th our jonin sensei's looking at us with the matching amused grins that made it more akward.
"Thanks" I muttered. After being reunited with everyone we were dismissed to wash up in a nearby bathroom and sent out to rest. We were sent to the hot springs actually, but not me. I was sent to the hokages office.
Kiba:
So what's been going on in the village?" I asked Kakashi sensei.
"Well..." he sighed. It seemed like something wasn't right.
"The village has been preparing for the Akatski to decode a message written by the late sanin Jiriya. There's been a lot going on" Kakashi said. I nodded understandingly. We'd reach the hot springs and settled down in warm water. After being in the undeground maze and in the forest so long it was good, a nice break. I had noticed Yumi going somewhere else though. It was odd.
Yumi:
I stod in Lady Tsunades Office with Naruto and Sakura. There was a little green from in the room I noticed.
"I have news for you three" Lady Tsunade told us, she had her hands folded and her eyes closed.
"Well what is it grandma Tsunade?" asked Naruto.
"M'Lady?" asked Sakura. I felt like something was wrong, gravely wrong. My body was tense and stiff, and my heard was racing.
"We've heard from a reliable source that.... Orochimaru has been killed by Sasuke Uchiha" she said. Everyong but me gasped. I stood frozen, unable to say anything. My father.... was dead?
"But then that means Sasuke is coming back?" Naruto asked eagerly. Lady Tsunade shook her head.
"I'm afraid not, but Naruto you have a chance to train with one of Jiriya's teachers" she said. Naruto looked down sadly at the mention of Sasuke not returning.
"Ok, fine then. I'll train hard and one day I will bring him back because I'm going to be hokage" he said with the same eager enthusiastic tone. The frog and Naruto left.
"Sakura you are also dismissed" she added.
"Yumi, I suggest you train also. It is likely the jonin exams will not continue due to the Akatsuki" Lady Tsunde. I nodded barely hearing what she had said.
