"Babbbbee!" I call to Elijah from down the hall.

"Yes my love~" my loving husband rushes to sit at my side as I sit on our bed, his hand immediately placed over my swollen belly with a smile.

"I just wanted to see your face. How is the nursery going?"

"Just placing the finishing touches on their room. When I'm done, I'll have you see it." He caresses my cheek. I lean into his touch.

"I can't wait. You've been working so hard on it."

"Indeed I have. I want it to be perfect for our children." I grin and pull him to me for a kiss. He happily kisses back.

"Ah! Before I forget, would you please tell my sister I'll be meeting with her for that stroll?" Jru wanted to get some fresh air. She's having a very smooth recovery. She has been a bit depressed for a while after the loss of her child but she is healthy and today she is supposed to know whether it's safe for her to try again with Ross.

"Are you sure you should be moving so much in your condition- unsupervised at that? There are some of Darius' rogue allies still lurking around."

"Don't worry, Ross will accompany us and Micah has sent us reinforcements because it is nearing the time for me to give birth. A few more months. He's a trustworthy friend, Elijah. You can count on him as you did before when he helped bring me home," I try to reassure him.

"If you say so...I still don't completely trust him, especially since he assumed his position of alpha so quickly but he is a valuable ally to us so I'm trying to be friendly."

"I know you are wary of him but I can see the two of you as friends." Elijah's sighs. "Alright then...I'll suggest he and I can get together and hang out," He shrugs, "Does that sound cordial enough?"

"It sounds great, my love. Please do notify my sister I'll be coming."

"Yes, of course," he kisses my forehead, "I will notify her at once." He then gets up and leaves me to find my sister. As he does that, I sit up and drag myself out of bed. I slip on some shoes and begin making my way downstairs. I look around for my sister but first I am greeted by my mother.

"Hello my dear. How are you feeling today?"

"Good. My back kills but I'm pushing through." I sigh.

"Well alright. Don't overdo it. You are carrying the future, you know." I smile at her comment.

"Yes mother, I know." I nod and head outside to see if my sister is somewhere out there.

"Josi, you ready?" I hear her behind me. I turn around and grin.

"Yeah. How are you today?"

"I have my good and bad days...today is one of the good one." She smiles and walks over to me, putting her hand on my belly and gently rubs it.

"Look at you...I swear you get bigger every day."

"Ha ha, very funny," I roll my eyes.
