After preparing for this day for my entire life, you'd think I'd be ready for it...excited even but I'm absolutely terrified and the one person I need to see just so happens to be the groom and everyone is so superstitious about me seeing the groom before I walk down the isle...I decide to call him, having not seen him since last night. "Don't tell me you're getting cold feet now~" is the first thing he says. An automatic grin forms on my face just hearing his voice.
"I wouldn't dream of it...I wish I could see you right now..."
"I know. I miss your pretty face...your snow white hair, those little troublemakers growing inside you~." I laugh.
"Your family misses you too. I wish time would speed up and just get to the good part of today."
"Me too...we'll really officially be...official for life," he laughs, joking about it but it's true...mates til death do us part.
"I love that...I can't wait. They're making me all pretty for the wedding."
"Describe your look for me~"
"Now that would ruin the surprise. I want to see you shocked and in awe, in tears even."
"I'm sure I will be regardless...you always take my breath away when I look at you..." there's that sweet, deep voice I love~.
"You're so sweet," I smile, "I can't believe I can call you my husband in a few hours~."
"I know...it's insane that we pulled this together so fast..everything looks perfect. Why did we rush this again?" He laughs.
"Because I wanted to be married to you as soon as possible~."
"Yeah, I did too. I'm happy we're doing this. I do wish we took our time a little more, loving each other while in a relationship."
"Yeah, I kinda do too but we know each other like the back of each our hand at the same time...like we've known each other forever."
"Yeah, I feel the same way. I felt that way the day we met...even though I tried to play it cool since we met, my love for you was nearly instant...like a cosmic force just pushed me towards you."
"We were destined to be together, I know it...just everything that happened between us is just straight out of a movie or a book or something," I chuckle.
"You would say that...I'm your fairytale man right? Your knight in shining armor~?" Elijah jokes
"You always have been..."
"Be careful, I might hunt you down and love on you~."
"That is if you can find me~ I'm in a secret location~."
"Is that a challenge~?" I can feel his smirk through the phone.
"No! I'll see you at the wedding~"
"You tease!!" We both erupt in laughter. "I love you..." he says.
"I love you too. Now save the emotions and tears for the alter!"
