Grayheart's POV:
No! This can't be! Not now! I thought. Tears swelled in my eyes. Then I heard Moonwhisper pad into the den.
"Grayheart... I'm so sorry,"
"She never deserved to get sick. Is there anything you could do Jayfeather?"
Then the blind medicine cat stared coldly into my eyes. "Can a squirrel climb?"
I stared at him.
"Of course I could do something," Jayfeather finally translated. "But it won't make it go away without the catmint.'
"Well, try something!"
"Calm down I will. We'll have to get her away from all the cats as soon as possible." Then he calmed his blind gaze at me as soon as he new how I felt about that. "I'm sorry, Grayheart. But it for the good of you and your clanmates."
I dipped my head. "Okay, Jayfeather. As long as it makes her better," Then I padded out of the den with Moonwhisper by my side.
"Are you okay, now?" She asked me with curious eyes.
"I'm fine," I looked down. I don't know how long I'll survive with the silver she-cat asking me questions.
