Chapter 32: Signs

Blazewhisker's POV:

I stare at Grayheart from inside the medicine. He was charging around the clearing like something's on his mind. The signs haunt me like he's doing something suspiciously weird. Then I spot him going around asking everybody, "Hey, do you know where Moonwhisper is?" And they're all just shaking their heads in response. I don't bother. It's definitely not about me.

I feel a lot better now that Jayfeather has created a poultice that would work. I'm allowed to go anywhere except outside of camp. But I just don't. Don't feel like it. I mean... Something fishy would be RiverClan, not Grayheart. I just don't go anywhere near him in case if he's going to snap at me for walking more than a step outside the den.

"Blazewhisker! I'm going to go to the Mountains with Moonwhisper!" My brother mewed as he ran over to me.

I gasped. "The Mountains! You can't be insane! You know how far that is! Why'd you need to go?"

"I had a dream! I need to go!" He pleaded.

"If you're going, then I need to go with you," I stood up. 

"But she said that I could only bring one cat," He mumbled.

"Look, I can't let you go alone with one cat! It's dangerous! Let me go with you! If you don't like it, I'll follow you anyways!"

"Okay, fine. I can't force you," He finally mewed. "And keep your fur on, will you? I'll see if I can find Moonwhisper so we can go!"

"Hey, I want to go too!" mewed Honeysap who clearly heard our conversation.

Then I glanced back at Grayheart. "Can she?"

"Fine." He mewed. "I won't disappoint you now, Jaymoon!"
