Graypaw's POV:

"ThunderClan! Gather beneath the Highledge!" It had to be Firestar.

"Firestar, what is it now?" Dustpelt called from beneath the ledge.

"Jayfeather has recieved a sign from StarClan. So if you're going to argue, you'll rather not."

Then the dark brown tabby froze without saying a word. I guess he's done arguing with the leader. Then Firestar looked over to the blind medicine cat. "Jayfeather, you may begin,"

"Thank you," Then his blind gaze swept through the entire clan. "Yes, I had recieved a sign last night and--"

"Okay, okay, Firestar has already covered that part. Just... What was the omen?" Berrynose interrupted. Then Jayfeather stared at him with a cold gaze. It's creepy when he somehow looks directly at you. It's really hard to even tell he's blind.

"Anyways, the omen was that one path will be formed when the gray fire have swept over and had made the two paths close," Then as soon as Jayfeather addressed about the omen, I saw my mother's eyes glowed. Does she know about the omen already? How?

"For StarClan's sake! Can StarClan themselves be less vague?" I heard Cinderheart's voice sound from the crowd. "What do you think it means?"

"Do I look like I have a clue?" Jayfeather mewed to her in his serious tone.

"No," Cinderheart dipped her head in embarrassment.

"Even if the omen doesn't apply to everyone, it does affect all the clans around the lake. Right?" Poppyfrost mewed softly.

"Right," Jayfeather answered briskly. "So, that means we'll have to wait first. Always the meaning of an omen or prophecy always makes sense later. You'll just have to let it happen. You can't make it happen."

you'll just have to let it happen. You can't make it happen. Jayfeather's voice rang in my head. Can we make it happen? Oh, of couse not! An omen is supposed to be caused by StarClan. Then an image of Featherpaw, the cat I had met in the gathering, entered my mind. If it means for all clans, even WindClan, then we should just let it happen like Jayfeather had mewed.

"So, everyone, keep your ears pricked and noses clear in case you find signs on what it could mean," Jayfeather went on. "But don't look for it. You'll eventually find it."

"Thank you, Jayfeather." Firestar mewed to the blue-silver tabby. "We all get that, right?"

Then murmurs of agreement rose in the crowd.

"Alright then," The clan leader mewed. "Now the meeting is dismissed," Then the flame-colored tom hopped off the ledge. I guess I'll just have to keep my senses open for now.
