Sweet and Spicy Mochi

Drifting Apart

Ochako:

 Back at my apartment I walk in. To the right Deku's cooking in the kitchen. "Hey babe!" Deku looks up from his cooking and he smiles. "Hey!"

 I put down my stuff and walk up behind him. Peeking over his shoulder I see what he's making. "Fried tofu? Yum!" He seems to be finishing up so I walk to the table and sit down. He comes over with the plates and sits down. He then starts eating.

 I take a bite of the food and moan at how good it is. "How was work?" I ask after finished chewing. "It was good, yours?"

 "It was great! Me and Todoroki were able to catch a villain." He looks up from his food. "You were with Todoroki?" I tilt my head slightly. "Yeah, I told you I started working with him last week, remember?" 

 His eyes flash of recognition. "Oh yeah, sorry I forgot, I have a lot on my mind." 

"It's fine."

 As I continue eating I think about something. Deku and I haven't gone out together in a while. "Hey, um, are you free this weekend?" Deku finishes his food. "No sorry, I have to meet up with All Might Saturday and Sunday I have a meeting with another agency." 

 I sigh. We barely get to see each other anymore. Sometimes he's not even here for dinner! "Ok, I'll try meeting up with the girls," I say reassuring him, but more of for me.

 Putting away my plates I go to my room. Getting changed into a white shirt and pink shorts I lay on my bed. Maybe I should text Bakugou? Getting on my phone I add his number to my contacts. I look then at the title of his name. Hmm, too plain. Instead of Bakugou I change the name to Angrydoggo.

Stargirl: Hi Bakugou! Whatchya doin'?

Angrydoggo: Who tf is this?

Stargirl: It's Ururaka!

Angrydoggo: Oh, what do u want

Stargirl: Are you free this weekend?

Angrydoggo: Why?

Stargirl: Could we hang out???

Angrydoggo: No.

 I sigh. Why did I even ask? Wait, I have an idea. I quickly called Kirishima. "Hey Ururaka! What's up?" "Do you think you could get me to meet up with Bakugou?" "Bakugou? Huh, sure." "Ok thanks! See you this weekend!" "See ya?"

Kirishima:

 That's weird. Why would she want to meet up with him? Oh well, I'll convince him. I then text him to meet up with me at the local boba store this Saturday. 

 "Hey! Kirishima let's go!" I turn around to see Mina. "Okay, coming!"

Ochako:

 Walking out of my room I head down the hallway to Deku's. His door is open so I walk in. He's at his small desk at the left corner of the room. He hears me comes in and turns around. "Hey, need anything?" He asks. "Uh, no, just wanna know if you wanna watch somethin' with me?" 

 He looks at his computer then back at me. He shakes his head. "I'm sorry but I need to finish this up. Maybe tomorrow night?" I look down at my feet. "Um, sure, goodnight then."

 I walk back to my room and hop in bed. Staring at the ceiling I think about our relationship. Why stay with him if he's busy all the time? I know he's not doing it on purpose! But, what's the point?

 If I break up with him, I probably feel better. Right?

 Sighing I close my eyes and hope that sleep will wash away my stress. Hopefully this will get better.
