Forgotten...

Chapter 2

We arrive back at our dorm room around 5:00.
"That was amazing" I laughed. Then I thought about my mom. MOM! I haven't called her yet!
"Hey can you excuse me for a moment?" I asked Courtney.

"Yeah totally, I'm gonna start to get ready" she smiled.
I walked out into the hallway and took out my phone. I dialed moms number and waited.
"Hello?" her voice was timid.

"Mom are you ok?" I asked worried.
"Y-yeah I'm fine" I could tell she had been crying. "How is college so far?" she changed the subject.

"It's been good I have a nice roomate. Are you sure you're okay?" I asked serious.
"Dani I'm fine, now go get back to college life, call me before you go to bed" she said.

"Fine I love you" I said looking down the hallway.
"I love you too baby girl" she responded then hung up.
I went to go back to my room when a large guy bumped into me.
"Ugh!" I said out loud holding my shoulder. When I looked up I saw two worried green eyes staring at me.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean too" the blonde guy said.
"I-its ok it was my fault" I stuttered. This guy has to be the definition of perfect.

"Well see you around" he said, and with that he was gone.
I walked back into the room, starstruck. Courtney was looking at me in her mirror.
"You okay? You look like you just saw a ghost" she laughed applying mascara on her eyelashes.
"More like the hottest guy in the world" I responded going into the bathroom.
"Ohhhhhh! Dani has a crush!" she sang following me into the bathroom.
"Shutup! Can you help me with my hair?" I asked "I don't know what to do with it.
She looked at me in the mirror.
"Yeah I think I got an idea"
After she did my hair, which looked amazing, I slipped on the tight black dress. I looked at myself in the mirror and thought 'is this really me?'
"Ready? Jared just texted saying hes here" Courtney asked fluffing her hair one last time.
"Yeah leggo" I slipped my shoes on then followed her out the door.
We arrived at this huge tan mansion. It was beautiful.
"Holy shit this is anazing" I said in aw.
There was people outside dancing to the blaring music. I followed Jared and Courtney inside. It was loud and there was a lot of hot guys.
"Who knows maybe you'll find a boyfriend tonight!" Courtney yelled over the loudness. I shook my head at her.
I grabbed a red solo cup off the counter and poured some beer into it. I haven't drank since my senior year in in highschool.
Courtney disappeared with Jared somewhere so I decided to try to make new friends. I started walking toward the backyard when I was bumped by someone.
"Sorr- You again" the blonde guy from the hallway smiled.
"Oh hi" I blushed.
"Is this always how we are going to meet? I'm Jensen" he stuck his hand out for me to shake.
"I'm Daneel, but call me Dani" I said taking his hand in mine. So warm.
"Nice to officially meet you" he laughed.
"Yeah it is" I smiled. His laugh was amazing.
"You look beautiful" he said looking me up and down.
I blushed pulling a strand if loose hair
behind my ear. "Thanks" I responded.
"Come with me I wanna show you something" he said grabbing my hand.
We walked out the back door and through the yard to a quiet area of the grass. He sat down and patted beside him. I sat with him.
"Watch" he said looking at the sky.
I looked up at the sky and then fireworks started. Wow. Here I am sitting with what looks like the hottest guy in the universe watching fireworks.
I saw Courtney and Jared walking toward us.
"JENSENNNNNN" Jared yelled running up to Jensen tackling him to the ground.
"I see you met Jensen" Courtney smiled sitting next to me.
"You know each other?" I asked.

"Yeah Jensen and Jared are best friends" she explained smiling. "Just don't get to close to him" she said her tone serious.

"Why?" I asked curious.

"He is a player" she said.

"Oh-" I was interrupted by Jared.

"Me and J are going to get some drinks want one?" he asked both of us.

We nodded.

I kept thinking about what Courtney said about how Jensen was a player. How can someone as nice as him be a player? How many girls has he been with? I guess I'll never know.

I got up and walked to the bathroom. Courtney didn't notice cause she was on her phone laughing like a clown.
I walked into the washroom and shut the door. I was in there for about 5 minutes when suddenly the doorknob started jiggling.

"Just a minute" I called fixing my hair.

The knob continued.

"Ok ok!" I screamed.

I opened the door revealing a shaggy haired boy he smirked sneakly.

"Oh well hello gorgeous" he slurred. He was drunk.

"Uhm no thank you" I tried to push past him but he blocked my way.

"I would like to leave and back-" he pushed his fingers to my lips. I don't do well with drunk people, especially strangers. I immediately pulled his hand off my face.
"Ew! Get away from me!" I yelled attempting to escape again. But he stood in my way and just wouldn't move.

"You're not going anywhere pretty" his breathe smelled of booze. I wanted to puke.

Suddenly he was grabbed from behind.

"Leave her be Jason" the voice said.

"You always take all my girls Jensen!" Jason yelled walking away.

"Are you ok? He didn't hurt you did he?" Jensen asked calmly walking toward me.

"Y-yeah I'm fine he didn't" all I heard when I said that all I heard was Courtney saying 'don't get to close'
"I'm gonna go find uhm Courtney"
I scrambled and brushed past him.

I walked outside and saw Courtney and Jared making out. I feel so lost. I don't know why but all I can think about is Jensen. The way his teeth shine when he smiles. Ugh! I can't fall for him I just can't. I walk through the back gate where there is less people and sit on an empty bench. I look up at the sky and count the stars.

"Hey, can I join you?" it was Jensen.

I look up at him and give him a shy smile.
"I guess" I scooted over and he sat down.

"So tell me about yourself" he broke the awkward silence.

"I don't know what to say I mean ask me a question" I smiled awkwardly.

He smiled.
"Favourite color?"

"Easy red"

"Favourite food"

"Tacos"

"Animal?"

"Polar bear"

He smiled.
"virgin?"

My smile faded. I'm going in to deep.
'Don't answer' the back of my mind says, I don't listen.
"Yes.." I whispered looking down.

He looked at me and smiled.
"Hey its okay" he lifted my chin with his finger. I got lost in his emerald green eyes. 'Stop Dani, Stop while you can' my mind is saying but my heart says 'kiss him kiss him'

He started to lean in. I can't. I look away breaking the moment.
"I think I should head back to the dorms" I said playing with my hand.

"Uhm yeah okay" his voice showed his embarrasment. I got up and walked away.
