The training continues and I'm in low spirits the entire time. Just like usual when I get angry I don't really feel like doing anything. I beat my best time in the race, but aside from that I'm doing worse than normal. It just pisses me off even more, especially since I know Seokjin is watching me every now and then.

"Jungkook, put some soul in it!" the coach screams at me for the millionth time, but his yelling doesn't change anything.

I touch the wall and he crouches down in front of me with a frown. He's going to scold me, I can tell.

"What's up with you today? Sorry, but I have to say it: You suck. Something's bothering you, right? You're normally not this bad."

I don't answer and just roll my eyes at him.

"That attitude of yours is a problem too. You're not getting back in the pool again until you've gotten a hold of yourself," the coach says and goes to scream at someone else instead.

I mutter every curse word I know under my breath as I get up from the pool. Stupid coach. I'm just having a bad day or something, no need to discipline me like that. I angrily sit down on a bench on the opposite side of the pool from where everyone else is and put my towel over my head only to glare at the guys swimming their laps. There's no doubt in my mind that I look like a grumpy kid, but I couldn't care less. My life is pretty shitty right now, so if I want to be sulking I goddamn will.

I should take this time to figure out who I should ask to teach me about being an alpha, but I honestly don't want to ask anyone at this point. The few guys I considered asking earlier have been ogling Seokjin when they think no one's looking, so they're out of the question.

I'm so irritated I want to break something. Preferably the legs of the guys who are whistling after Seokjin right now. Somehow they think it's OK to act like that towards him and it blows my mind. He'd never settle for lowlife like them. Just like I thought Seokjin just ignores them and continues with whatever work he's doing around the pool, but apparently his lack of interest isn't enough for them to give up pursuing him. The two guys start approaching him and I can't sit still any longer.

"Hey, hot stuff, wanna-"

"He's not interested," I say coldly and step in between them and Seokjin. "Don't you have better things to do than bothering people out of your league?"

They huff at me like I've lost my mind.

"Who are you to talk about us being out of his league when the coach won't even let you participate because you suck so bad? Go back to sulking on the bench instead."

Seokjin steps out from behind my back and smiles at the two guys. I know that smile very well. It's the one he uses whenever he turns down creeps.

"Sorry, but the gentleman here is right. I'm way out of your league."

With those words he exits the pool area and heads towards the staff only-area , leaving two stunned idiots behind. I scoff at them.

"See? Told you he wasn't interested," I say cockily.

I'm about to head back to the bench when I see that Seokjin is standing halfway out the door while staring at me to get my attention. He gestures with his head for me to follow him outside and then disappears through the door. I look around to make sure no one else saw, but they seem focused on their training, so I sneakily hurry on after him.

I carefully push the door open and step into a small locker room for the workers. Seokjin is sitting on a bench in front of some lockers, but stands up when I enter. He frowns disapprovingly while looking at the floor where I'm standing.
