Nevertheless, after the rather uneventful chat with the seeker, Emerald immediately ended the call to avoid any further questions. The 'Bots and Agent Fowler decided that Lena and Alex, once he was free from Decepticon captivity, will be living in the Autobot base. Authorities were already sent out to arrest Leo Mulwhich only to discover that the man had already packed up what he could carry and left Jasper. A heavy ransom of 12 thousand dollars was sent out for his capture. Ratchet was made Lena's guardian until further notice, much to both their dislikes. Ratchet not wanting to have to watch over an organic and Lena not wanting to have someone she doesn't trust babysit her. Let alone someone who treats her like an inferior being. Agent Fowler, on the other hand, has to deal with General Bryce in explaining the current situation.

Being bored out of her mind. Unable to go outside base without her guardian's supervision or Optimus's permission and Emerald practically canceled their little get-together. Being it Saturday, the humans were out with their guardians strengthening their "guardian-charge bond" as Optimus put it. So far the only "bonding" she has gotten with Ratchet is when they argued about the best way to track an energon signal. Which is still currently active. 

"I'm telling you, the best way to search for wealthy energon signals is by recalibrating your navigation sensors for dark energon. That way you can pick up the opposing signal quicker than you would with your sensors searching for regular energon signals."

"Peh! I've been at this far longer than you have so you have no right to tell me how to do my job! And besides, why don't you just ask your Decepticon friend for mining operation coordinates?" Sassing out, spitting out 'Decepticon friend' like Cybonic Plague was coated on his glossa. The two had been at each other's throats for the last twenty minutes. Insulting each other, calling each other names other than their own, the two refusing to listen to any advice given from the other due to their stubbornness.

"Because then you guys will just automatically charge into all of them or at least half of them! Isn't that a bit too suspicious for the Autobots to automatically know where the most prominent mines are? Megatron would no doubt know there is a traitor in their midsts!" One hand curled into a fist rests on her hip, upper body leaning slightly forward with her finger pointing at the white and orange-striped medic in a nagging manner. 

Optimus stood on the other side of the room, gently rocking his weight from one pede to the other, observing the two. He wasn't quite sure if he should end the dispute or continue watching to see where it leads because, with him being completely honest, the ex-archivist found the sight quite amusing.

"Rusty aft."

"Squishy ant."

"Two-pit processor."

"I may as well just squish you right now," subtly bringing the wrench he started clenching at the beginning of the conversation into view that had slightly curved dents that matched the shape of his digits. A devilish smirk appeared on Lena's face. The hand she was using to point at Ratchet turned ablaze, her amber eyes glowing a slight golden-orange hue. "I'd like to see you try."

The stand-off went for a few moments of unbroken silence except for the quiet beeping sounds of the monitors and burning of the flaming hand. 

Yup. Things were off to a great start.

Time: Saturday, 7 a.m.

Jack, Raf, and Miko were still sluggish from waking up so early to come to the base. Although once they saw what happened to the poor couch, all three burst into questions. It took Lena about five minutes to explain to them how pyrokinesis works along with telling Miko that she wasn't going to use her flaw to roast marshmallows. Even though that did sound delicious.
