When I got home I spent the rest of the day eating popcorn and watching old 80s movies. Elena dropped me off and then went back to help Damon and Stefan. I was nearing the end of 'Heathers' when Jeremy walked in.
"There's my favorite Gilbert," I said with a smile.
He laughed and shook his head, "Don't tell Elena that."
Jeremy plopped down next to me and snatched my bowl of popcorn from my arms. I rolled my eyes and turned my attention back to the movie. We sat like that til it finished and then I got tired. I laid my head down on his shoulder.
"Jer?" I asked.
"Yeah?"
"I'm happy that you are doing better."
"I'm happy too."
"Good," I murmured and then I fell into a deep sleep.
[The Next Day]
When I opened my eyes, I realized I was still on the living room couch with Jeremy. It was dark out now and someone had turned the TV off. I slowly up from the couch and went to the kitchen to get some food. The clock sitting on our kitchen counter read 11:16 p.m. I let a small groan escaped my lips.
*Whoosh*
"Damon you don't need to do that anymore," I mumbled under my breath as I opened the refrigerator.
I could practically hear a smirk grace his lips, "I know but it's still fun."
"Can you please leave? I'm tired, it's late, and I don't want you to wake up my brother."
"Yeah, yeah whatever. Jeremy's fine and plus I have a question for you," he said as he came to stand next to me.
"If it's about ou-"
"You look stunning."
My brows furrowed. I look down to see what I was wearing that could be so 'stunning'. Red heat covered my cheeks from ear to ear. I was only in my underwear. Damon Salvatore just said I looked stunning in my underwear! I looked back at him. His eyes were dancing with delight and his mouth slowly began to open, surely bringing another cocky comment, but he never got to say it. My legs started to move before my brain could process what I was doing. I stormed over to Damon, my arm raised.
*Slap*
His usual smirk instantly dropped. I let my eyes burn into his ocean colored orbs with a type of rage I had never felt before.
"Get out of my house you son of a bitch."
[The Next Day]
After my little fiasco with Damon, I think he finally caught on to the fact that I'm tired of his games and I'm not ready to forgive him. Me and Elena continued our mission to figure out what the hell was wrong with me, meanwhile Stefan and Damon were nowhere to be found. Elena had finally let me in on the knowledge that Bonnie Bennett, her best friend, was a witch so we decided to meet up with her and see what she thinks I could be.
We walked into the almost vacant Mystic Grill and sat down at a both. Bonnie walked in shortly after. She was carrying a large book and had a bittersweet smile plastered onto her face.
"Alright," she said as she sat down across from me and my sister, "let's do this."
I gulped. For some reason I was nervous as hell. What if she figures out what I am and I turn out to be as evil as Damon? What if I hurt Jenna or Elena or Jeremy. I looked to my sister and she nodded her head sweetly, letting me know that it was okay.
Bonnie held out her hands, "Let me see if I can feel a super natural presence coming off of you."
Slowly, I lowered my hands into her palms and breathed in and out calmly. She closed her eyes and mumble some words underneath her breath. After thirty seconds, she stopped and opened her eyes.
"What the hell," she mumbled.
"What is it?" Elena gasped.
I start to panic. I love my family more than anything in the world and if I turn into a monster that could hurt them I will not be able to live with myself. All I want to do is be good for them.
"This isn't like anything I've ever felt before," Bonnie started, "With vampires and other witches, like my Grams, you can feel their good and bad sides that come along with their powers, but you are different. (Y/n)... it's like... it's like you are the source for all the good. Like you are the source for pure white light magic."
