The air around me began to stir lightly kissing my skin. Slowly, I open my eyes and flutter away the blur of the view. Trees surrounded me once again as I realized I'm not in Mystic Falls with Jenna, Jeremy, and Elena.

     Where the fuc-

All the memories up until four weeks ago flood back into my brain. I grab my head in pain as my body coils into a ball.

No, no, no, it's too much slow down.

The pain stops as well as the memories giving me a chance to catch my breath. After a few minutes lying on the forest floor I sit up to look around. I need to find somewhere safe where I can get help. These visions of memories are probably going to keep coming cause I can still feel a hole that needs to be filled. I stand up and pick a direct walk in.

Where are you?

[One Hour Later]

I've made it to the top of a small mountain so that I can look around to see the nearest civilization. My eyes glance to what looks to be a small hotel with red and blue lights flashing outside of it. I gaze into the blue color as my brain tries to figure out why it is calming me.

"(Y/n)..." a gentle male whispers. My vision blurs and I loose my balance causing me to fall to the ground.

[Flashback]

"(Y/n)..." a male with a grin on his face says as I hide underneath my bed. Quiet giggles escape my lips.

"Pumpkin, it's easy to find you if you're laughing," he says as his feet appear at the end of the bed. "Just forfeit already. You already know I'm going to win."

I contain my giggles and strain my movements. His feet turn as he walks out of the room. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in.

Suddenly, a wrist wraps around my ankle and pulls me out from under the bed. Screams and laughs fill the room as my attacker tickles me to death. "Dam-on! S-stop! I can't be-eathe!" I giggle.

He stops tickling me and wraps his arms around me. "Fine," he sighs. "But, promise never to hide from me again, Pumpkin."

I look up to him. "Promise," I say as our fingers intertwine.

[End of Flashback]

My head clears as I come back to reality. I steady my breathing as I stand up from the ground and make my way towards the flashing lights.

Who are you?

[30 Minutes Later]

It is the mid-afternoon now, and the sun is burning into my back. I could faintly hear the commotion at the hotel. It was the only sound available to be heard in the quiet forest.

I look down at my feet and notice my hands shaking. Damnit. I quickly sit down underneath a tree as my vision blurs once again and my body drifts out of consciousness.

[Flashback]

"(Y/n), come on!" my little brother screamed. I run out of my room.

"You want to say it again, Jeremy. I don't think I heard you the first time," I said rolling my eyes and daring him to fight me.

He looked me dead in the eye, "Let's. Go."

"Oh you are so dead!" I yell and sprint down the stairs after him.

He runs into the kitchen and I dart after him. After a few minutes of running around the house the two of us stop and land on the floor next to each other in a fit of laughter.

After we calmed down a bit I faced him, "Jer, remind me one day to tell you my darkest secret." As I say that I can picture Damon and Stefan.

"And remind me to tell you that no matter how bad it is you will always be my sister. My best friend for life," he said softly with a smile.

     Why you?

[End of Flashback]

When I awoke again the sun was setting. Somehow my body had moved closer to the hotel. I stand up with new found strength.

I start sprinting to the hotel. Using all of my heart and soul to drive my body to max speed.

As the darkness falls into place like it does every night in every town and city, my body began to contrast. My skin glowed white soft light that grew stronger the closer I got to the hotel.

I come through the clearing of woods and reach the hotel. My light fades and I return to normal.

"Stefan!" I shout as loud as I can.

"Elena!" I screamed for the care of my sister.

There are so many things that I regret not being thankful for. I never showed the compassion to them they deserved. They need to know how I feel. They have to know.

"DAMON!" that's who I've been searching for. My love. My blue eyed monster.

Time seemed to slow as the raven haired man walked out of the hotel entrance.

     "(Y/n)," he whispered in disbelief.

"How many times do I have to tell you?" I say out of breath.

"My name isn't (Y/n)," I say letting a smile come across my face. "It's Pumpkin."
