"I'm not a bad guy,"

A loud siren, burst through the air, screaming from Jisoo's phone. She left out a small scream, still not used to her iPhone alarm. That ring should be illegal. She swore she read somewhere that waking up using alarms was unhealthy for your body.

She grunts in agony as she rises up from her comfy, and warm, bed. It was winter, she woke up with her snot frozen, and throat dry. She hates winter, cold weathers in general. Ironically her boss, loved it. He loved anything cold.

Cold coffee, cold cakes.

His office was really cold too. She appreciated it during summer but during winter, she loathed that prison. Kim Taehyung was his name. They were the same age, yet he has accomplished so much in such a little time. He was highly praised for his photography and artistic skills, that was the reason why she applied for this shitty job as an intern. Which, not long after she joined the company, turned her into an assistant.

The pay was good, it paid better than anything ever had. She always wondered why he paid her so much, compared to his other assistants. He had several. Jisoo assumed owning your own company would need you to have a lot of help.

Kim Taehyung was very strict about everything, if he did not like something, he got rid of it. Jisoo worked extremely hard to become valuable to the company. She did everything for him, exactly the way he liked it. The time she got to his house to help him pick out a tie or a pair of shoes, was the same for the past 3 years she had  been working for him.

Jisoo had his breakfast pre-ordered to avoid standing in lines, everything was planned out. She was never late. She shuffled towards her window to open her curtains and saw a small light peak through a gap in the clouds.

Its winter, has the sun ever risen this early...

She was never late, except for today.

Jisoo stared at the time, she was ten minutes behind schedule. She felt the air knock out of her lungs, "Shit! Shitshitshitshitshitshitshit!" She ran towards the bathroom, not caring to wear slippers in her cold apartment, and got ready for work.

The door to a packed Café is busted open as a slightly pink in the face, Jisoo stumbles into the building. She managed to lessen the time by not doing her usual make up routine and kept it to lipstick and eyeliner. She ran to the front of the line, not caring for the other customers. "KIM TAEHYUNG'S ORDER." She heaved out.

The cashier on the other end stared at her confused,"Excuse me, Miss? But you need to go the back of the line." Jisoo stared the new young male up and down, finally realising he was new.

Jisoo repeated herself slowly,"Kim Taehyung's order, please."

He continued to stare at her,"Miss-"

Being fed up with his refusal to obey, she yanked on his collar,"Get your manager here now or I will END you." He scattered to fetch the manager to sort out the issue. The afraid younger adult brought in an older woman.

"Slow down, I can't hear what you are saying-" Naeun made eye contact with Jisoo. "Jisoo!" The younger make stared at his senior in confusion. "This is Jisoo," She motions towards the hyperventilating woman. "I forgot to tell you that picks up an already made order for her boss." Naeun picks up a bag underneath the counter and hands it to Jisoo.

Before Naeun could say anything else, Jisoo let out a quick "Thanks" before running out of the door.

She ran as fast as she could and took a taxi to his estate, eventually arriving at Taehyung's large house, she did not have the time to stare at its beauty. Jisoo ran barefoot through his house to bedroom. She dashed up a flight of stairs that should take her to his room, a closet of his clothes specifically meant for work.

After running up the final flight of stairs, she met a man sitting on an armchair, staring at a large shelf of different types of shoes. Jisoo could see his curly black hair peep out from the head of the sofa.

She heard him exhale,"You are, late."
