"Every day is a chore,"

"YOU ARE, LATE." Taehyung says, a deep sigh escaping his pink lips. Jisoo takes a deep breath before putting on her shoes and strengthening her clothes. "A few things came up. I'm sorry it will not happen again." She walks towards a table in front of Taehyung, a row of different styled dress shoes lay in front of him. She quickly looks at the colour of his suit, beige, it was loose and he wore a white shirt underneath. Jisoo picks a light brown pair and places it infront of him before saying,"I suggest no tie, today."

He looks at her, skeptical of her choice but nonetheless, he agrees."I'm not hungry," He removes himself from the couch before walking passed Jisoo and down the stairs. She silently curses his back, the way Jisoo had to struggle fetching his breakfast let alone skip her own to cut off some time, and for him to just decide to skip it, infuriated her.

Jisoo sighed and tried to make her voice stable before replying,"Yes, Sir." and then following his footsteps to the car waiting for him. She quickly slips into his kitchen and places the lukewarm breakfast onto his kitchen counter. Jisoo was positive one of his house workers will do something with it.

His chauffeur, Noh Songmin, waited outside of car, ready to greet Taehyung and open the door for him. "Good Morning, Mr Kim." Songmin slightly bowed and opened the car door for Taehyung. Songmin stared at Jisoo refusing to greet her. They were not the best of friends ever since Jisoo rejected his romantic advances.

He closed the door before Jisoo could climb inside the car, she gave him a wide smile. "Still bitter I see." She mocked him. Songmin returned the smile,"Still single I see." Jisoo dropped the smile and light pushed to the side so that she could hold the donor's handle. "You can talk all you want but I still make more money than you." She did not wait for his rebuttal before climbing into the door and slamming it shut behind her.

Songmin glared at the tinted car window before rushing to the drivers seat. The pair arrived infront of the work building. Jisoo always admires the architecture of it. It was a tall building, the outside made out of glass, the skry reflected off of it and it looked like the ocean. It was beautiful. High Cut in bold metallic letters near the enterance. High Cut is one of the most popular magazines in South Korea, Jisoo remembers collecting their issues and to be able to work in the same company brought her joy.

Taehyung snapped her out of her daze and told her to hurry up. They passed through the entrances, multiple co-workers politely greeting Taehyung as he breezed through the hallway without giving them a second glance. Jisoo was, as always, forgotten about as she hid behind Taehyung trying to keep up with his large strides.

The day went on as usual, she organized files for him, ran a few errands. These took her time until lunch but Jisoo was determined to approve and send through his meetings for remainder of the day and possible tomorrow. She scrolled through the notes she had written down and passed through one that wasn't written by her but instead was typed by his secretary,  Park Ah-Yeon.

Jisoo couldn't recognize the number and name, she rolled her eyes and thought to herself that it should not bother her that much. So she smacked a PRIVATE MEETING for the status. She stared at her work with pride as her phone rang, startling her slightly.

Her caller ID flashed as one of her best friends, Jisoo smile made her cheeks hurt, she was thankful that Taehyung ate out with one of his work friends for lunch. "Rosie!" She slight yelled through the microphone. Love bleeding from her pores, she missed Chaeyoung so much. They had been friends since they met. The gorgeous blonde korean born aussie, was a bit rough around the edges but Jisoo new she was nothing but fluff ball.

"Ya! Kim Jisoo. Where are you," Chaeyoung scolded the elder through the phone. Chaeyoung wanted to have lunch with her best friend today so she made sure to stop by and visit Jisoo. Currently, she was roaming around the entrance lobby unsure of where to go. "I'm waiting for you at the entrance. Hurry, the food is getting cold. Fries don't taste the same reheated.", She whined, tapping her feet softly. Jisoo laughed at Chaeyoung more concerned over the food. "Okay! I'm on my way." Jisoo laughed before hanging up to fetch her lost friend. She opened her desk drawer and threw it inside, not caring about the device before walking away.

Jisoo arrived on the bottom floor, her eyes immediately caught a blonde head standing in the middle of nowhere. "Chaeyoung-ah!" She called out. Chaeyoung's head turned towards Jisoo and she returned the smile as she walked towards her close friend. Jisoo took a look at her appearance, comfy baggy jeans and loose cropped creme jersey. "Skipped work today again?" Shaking her head. Chaeyoung was too spoiled by her boss. Granted it is her husband as well, Jisoo doesn't understand how he spoils her so much. "I had slight headache," She pouts as she explains before grabbing Jisoo's arm and dragging her towards the elevator. "Let's eat!"

The two bid their farewell and Jisoo returns to her desk, she stared at her phone in glee, Chaeyoung left a cute note and wished her luck for the rest of the day , she returned the device back into her drawer and continued her day. Taehyung stared her Jisoo's warm cheeks (caused by her laughing with Chaeyoung). Jisoo's smile was still bright and he stared in confusion. She usually looks dull, maybe she has a love interest. He shook his head before walking back to his desk.

Taehyung read through all of the material Jisoo had sent him. When his eyes landed on PM, his heart sank. "Ya," He called out. Catching Jisoo off guard. "S-sir?" She stumbled.

Taehyung stared at her, making sure not to break eye contact. "You may take the rest of the evening off. You will not be needed for my last meeting, okay?"
