"I hear your footsteps they creeping,"
▵
JISOO STARES AT her phone in disbelief, she hurriedly pressed down on Chaeyoung's phone contact, "Hello-" Before her best friend could even breathe she asked, "Where are you and Jungkook?"
Taehyung pretends to ignore her slightly yelling next to him.
"Paris!" Chaeyoung replies."Jungkook dragged me to some boring-"
Jisoo heard Jungkook voice echoe from her speaker,"Stop saying I brought you here against your will, someone will eventually believe you,"
Chaeyoung hushes her husband before continuing,"I thought I told you we were leaving the country for a little bit?" Jisoo could hear heels clicking on the ground. The couple were currently walking towards their hotel suite.
Jisoo remembered their phone call from a while back, let's out a deep sigh and replied with a hard, no. "Your event does not happen to be a wedding, right?"
Hearing a wedding being mentioned, Taehyung paid a little attention to her phone call.
Chaeyoung replies slowly,"Yeah, why do you..." she trails off before gasping, giving Jungkook a fright. "Don't tell me, are we are going to the same wedding?"
"I think so,"
"Jennie Kim and Park Jimin?"
"Yes,"
"여보(Yeobo)! Jisoo is going to the same wedding as us." Chaeyoung softly punches his back as he was opening their room's door. Jungkook was so close to booking a separate room while he was Jet-lagged but he loves her so much he probably would break during the second day and share the same suite anyways.
Then it hit, Jisoo. "Chaeng-아(ah)," she starts of, "Who the hell is 'Justin'?"
"Jungkook's english name. He has never told you?"
Jisoo held back laugh and calmly replied,"He never mentioned it," She could not wait to meet up and terrorize him with this newfound information. "Yah-" Chaeyoung called out, as Jungkook grabbed her phone out of her hand. "I would love to continue this conversation but I'm extremely Jet-lagged, I will send you our room number for emergencies. Do not visit for a couple of days, I will ignore you." Jungkook ends his monologue by pressing the end button.
He felt Chaeyoung slap is shoulder multiple times, "I was not finished talking-" He pulls her towards body, and presses his lips softly on hers. Chaeyoung was speechless. "Please," He silences her,"No talking. You can meet up for dinner but for now, I need to sleep."
Closing the door behind them, he kicks off his shoes and shuffles towards the bed and falls face first without changing his clothing.
ㅡ
Jisoo stares at her phone, speechless. 'I will kill him' She thought. She sent a an awkward smile to Taehyung, "My friends are guest's to your sister's wedding."
Taehyung gave her a deadpan look, wondering who the man was on the other line, suddenly remembering how she was subconsciously smiling at her phone a while back. He says nothing as he turns back to facing the window.
"I guess it makes sense for a married couple to go to these things," Jisoo rambles on. Taehyung perks up a bit, "Married?" He asks. Jisoo had not realised she spoke aloud."Oh-" She pauses. "Yeah, Jungkook and I are close friends since middle school and we both met Chaeyoung around our university days,"
Jisoo smiles as she talks about them."I still find it insane they are still married. They hated each other so much when they first met..." She trails off as a building came into her view, Taehyung follows her gaze.
IT WAS PROBABLY THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING SHE HAS EVER SEEN
