My heart was pounding as I put my books in the bag. 'There's no need to be nervous,' I said to myself and walked downstairs to Cole. It felt as if it were my first day of University. Probably, worse than that as I haven't been out of Cole's place ever since I ran away from Huntsville.

I needed to calm down. I couldn't stay here for any more days, I had missed a lot of my lectures.

"Miss. Angelina, it's time to leave!" Alvaro called from downstairs.

I quickly left the room. Alejo was waiting outside in the car. I and Cole sat in the back, while Alvaro sat in the passenger's seat. I was very anxious. Cole seemed to notice that and slipped his hand into mine and squeezed it gently. The ride to University was rather quiet because I was too engrossed in my thoughts. Cole seemed to understand it, so he remained silent too.

We reached the University. As Cole and I entered the class, I could feel most of their eyes on us. I kept my head down while Cole glowered at them. We took our seats. Stephanie, one of the six girls who sat ahead of us, turned back and smiled at me. She got up from her seat and walked towards me.

"Hey," she said.

"Hi," I greeted her back.

"How was the long vacation?" she asked.

"Vacation?" I laughed.

"That was a punishment by Mr.Grey!"

"I know," she laughed.

"It's great that damaged his car, that man deserved it!" She patted my back.

"Yeah, he did," I grinned and looked at Cole who was having a conversation with few guys from our class.

Stephanie cleared her throat and leaned in towards me.

"So are you two dating?" she whispered in my ears.

"We?No, not really," I replied.

"Well that's great!" she exclaimed.

I gave her a puzzled look.

"I... I kinda have a huge crush on him! Can you please help me with it?" she requested.

I was shocked for a moment.

"Yeah... sure," I muttered.

"Wow! Thank you so much! You are amazing," she hugged me and left with a huge grin on her face.

I mentally slapped myself. I don't know why I said that! I could have simply told her the truth!

The professor entered the class. Cole got back to his seat. I looked around for Mike in the class but he was nowhere to be seen. I needed to talk to him.

"Miss. Falco, aren't you out of your detention holiday mode yet?" Mrs Auglaine, our psychology professor, questioned.

"I'm sorry," I apologized.

She looked at me for a minute and then resumed teaching.

The entire day went pretty dull, the only good part was hanging out with Jessica at  Cole's place. The following days were going somewhat the same. Having Alvaro and Alejo constantly hovering around me had me feeling twitchy. I spotted Mike a few times at the university but he would just wave and be on his way. Stephanie gushed over Cole to me every day while I was still apprehensive about telling her the truth about us some reason. I wanted to do away with all this.

I tried talking to Cole multiple times about it but he insisted that it was only for my safety. I couldn't live like this. It had been days since I hung out with my friends at the local cafe or went out for shopping with Jessica or just walk freely on the street without two giants hovering me.

"You alright, Angel?" Cole asked as I sat at the dining table staring outside the kitchen window.

I shook my head. Cole walked towards me and held my face. My eyes were about to spill tears.

"What's wrong, honey?"

"Cole, I am so tired of this. I want to go out, hang out with my friends. I want to live my life like I used to..."

I buried my face into his chest and cried. He rubbed my back gently.

" I understand," he sympathized.

"You need to get some air, let's go out for dinner tonight. Where do you want to go?"

"I don't know," I whispered.

"Pete's or the Deltan?" Cole asked.

He raised my chin to look up at him. He wiped off my tears with his other hand and kissed softly on my lips.

"Dress well, I'm taking you out on our first dinner date,"

"Date? Let's go to the Riveria then," I grinned.

"As you wish, my lady. I'll come to pick you up at 9 p.m."

"Don't be late on your first date." I chuckled.

I placed a soft peck on his chin before rushing towards my room. I opened the closet. After going through all my clothes, I finally settled on a dark blue satin dress.

It was short, ended right below my buttocks and had a deep V-neck but somehow it did not look too bold. It looked pretty. I covered myself with a black trench coat over it. It covered my dress entirely, I made sure to keep it closed. I wore a pair of matching dark blue heels. I put on red lipstick and decided to keep my hair open. I waited for a few minutes for the clock to hit 9 and when it was time, I went downstairs.

Cole stood there with a bouquet of white lilies, looking sauve dressed in a black shirt and denim. I walked towards him and he handed me the lilies.

"How did you manage to get it this quick?" I asked.

"I have my sources," he smirked.

He eyed me up and down curiously.

"What are you wearing underneath the coat?"

"Maybe nothing," I smirked.

"I should be looking forward to more than dinner tonight then,"

I chuckled and held his hand. We walked towards the car. Alvaro and Alejo were standing near the car. I glared at Cole.

"I told you I needed a break from them,"

"I understand but I cannot compromise on safety but we would be driving in a separate car. They would be following is and I have asked them to keep a distance. That's  the most we can do." Cole explained.

"Fine..." I said and sat in the car.
