The fog.
There is something so mysterious about it. You fade into it but people also fade out of it. It's filled with mystery and uncertainty. You won't know what's coming and they can't see what's heading towards them. It can spread out over everything and it can blur sight with ease. It is beautiful yet scary, it is there but also not. The fog can change whenever it pleases. It can disappear just as easy as it appears.

In my town, fog means trouble and when it arrives it will bring terror. When it leaves it will bring hope, peace and faith.
Or so we hoped.
