Jeremy said bye to Josh before he jogged to the bathroom, urgently needing to pee. He slowed as he grabbed the handle and pulled the heavy door open, walking past the the other person in there. He could hear the thuds against the wall and he curiously stuck his head around the corner after he had zipped his pants back up.

"Hey! Stop!" Jeremy yelled when he saw the cause of the thuds. He ran over to Nick and grabbed his shoulders, pulling him away from the wall.

"Get the fuck away from me!" Nick yelled but Jeremy stayed put, fighting against Nick's writhing body.

"Dude, calm down." Jeremy said but he let go as soon as he saw the glint of a tear fall down his cheek. "...Nick."

Nick looked up when he was addressed by his name.

Nick recognized the light brown hair that fell past his eyes, and yet he didn't know his name. He could still feel the lingering feeling of contact on his shoulders and part of him felt like he wanted that feeling again. The feeling of someone grabbing him to stop him from hurting himself, not the feeling of someone grabbing him to hurt him.

It wasn't until he looked back at the wall that he realized what he had done. There was blood smeared there and he knew it was his own when he felt his head ache.

"Let's....lets go to the health room." Jeremy said, not holding out his hand, but he stayed in the bathroom until Nick got up.

Hudson sat down at the usual table and waited for Eli. He had gotten there early so he could go through his lunchbox and pull out a cookie that he snuck from his pantry.

He couldn't help but look over the seemingly never ending words that were written on the table. He ran his finger over the "kill yourself" that was scratched into the wood. His mind wandered, contemplating if this is how it would feel if he ran his finger over Eli's forearms. And he remembered the way that Eli's own fingers gently trailed over his arm that same day.

"Hey," Eli said as he sat down next to Hudson. "Stop looking at those." He scolded when he saw where Hudson's eyes were scanning.

"All of these are written except for one. Why is that? Why is there only one carved?" Hudson pondered aloud but the thoughts were more meant for him than questions for Eli.

"Uh...I don't know? Maybe someone really wanted to get the message across." Eli's voice grew quieter as the sentence ended and he looked down at the jagged words that lived on the table.

"Yeah"

Mrs. G stood in her spectacularly unusual outfit with her one hand placed on her hip. She looked at Jeremy who was looking back and forth between Nick and the floor. "So you're saying that you found him like that, with his head already bleeding?"
