Nick

Hudson stopped when his eyes spotted a little abandoned hut, probably used for hunting at one point. He looked at Eli and pointed over to it, watching as Eli understood and began walking over there. The old, gray snow crunches under their feet as they neared the small hut. At closer inspection, the roof appeared to be dilapidated and the window shattered but all four walls were intact and it was empty, and that's all they needed.

Nick walked into the male restroom, glad to see that it was empty. He spotted his outfit in the mirror and made a look of disgust. He's seen so many guys at the school wearing these outfits, always with their pants sagged slightly and hair spiked up in the front. He hated it. He sighed and leaned against the side of one of the stalls, pulling out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. He shut his eyes when the tip of the cigarette caught fire and he inhaled the poison. It was calming to him, even though he knew he was destroying his lungs, it would just be one more way to get himself killed. The door began to push open and Nick didn't bother to try and hide his cigarette, he kept it between his lips and kept breathing it in. His eyes were closed but when he heard his voice he sighed, knowing that he had no way to escape.
"Why are you avoiding me?" Jeremy asked, his voice a little less confident than normal.
Nick sighed and opened his eyes, looking down at the younger boy. His eyebrows raised when he noticed a mark on his jaw. "What happened?"
"Huh?" Jeremy asked, maybe not understanding or just playing dumb.
"I asked, what happened? Your jaw." Nick repeated, pointing to the bruise.
Jeremy furrowed his brows in confusion. "You don't remember? You hit me in the halls."
Nick shook his head. "You're lying. I know what I did. I didn't leave a mark there."
Jeremy bit the inside of his cheek, trying to figure out what to say. "Dude, it probably just didn't form yet. I was taken to the health room practically right away."
Nick took the cigarette out of his mouth, carelessly dropping it onto the floor before stepping on it. "Cut the act, Jeremy. I know I didn't hit you there. I hit you here." He pointed to his cheekbone where a faint mark still showed. "So, lets start over. What happened?"
Jeremy sighed, picking up the cigarette from the floor and throwing it into the trash. "It was just Josh. No big deal."
Nick rolled his eyes. "Aren't you guys supposed to be friends?"
Jeremy nodded, not grasping the point. "Yeah. So?"
Nick was getting annoyed, seriously thinking of grabbing Jeremy by the collar and threatening him but he seemed to have some sort of relationship with him so that wouldn't happen. "Look, I don't have friends but even I know that friends don't beat each other up."
