CLTS NIGHT MARKET

Pagod na pagod ako

Pagod ang katawan ko at ang isip ko tapos pagod rin pagkatao ko

Hindi naman ako member ng CLTS society pero pagod na pagod ako, pabalik balik ako from the market to school ground tapos market ulit because ang daming mga kulang sa napamili nila. Napadaan lang naman talaga ako because I really wanna see yung set up pero inutusan na nila ko.

Shiila texted me and said na malelate siya ng uwi but wala naman siyang sinabing dahilan. Well, she's a grown up independent young lady na naman and hindi naman siya required magsabi kung bakit siya malelate diba? Pero

"Bakit na naman kaya?" I muttered to myself and sighed

I hurriedly went out of the scene nung nagbreak sila from setting up the venue

I don't wanna help anymore. Tama na yung manpower and effort na binigay ko. I really wanted to enjoy this year's CLTS week kasi nagkasakit ako last year and I missed everything

Hindi ako nainform na they'll abuse my kindness. I feel so used right now

"Ang arte mo" I muttered to myself while I'm walking papunta sa dorm

I stopped by this mini store just to buy ice cream since I need to relax everything sa katawan ko

Ice cream always makes you happy

"Chian, wait for mee!!" someone suddenly exclaimed

Chian?

I'm on my way sa counter to pay for the ice cream cone nung narining ko boses ng isang girl

I was frozen, suddenly

Nandito si Chian? I asked myself several times tapos in a snap binalik ko yung ice cream sa freezer and lumabas ng mini store. I looked around and hindi ko naman siya makita. Ang daming students and I don't know where to go to confirm if it's the Chian that I know or kapangalan lang or baka...

"Baka para akong tanga" I muttered to myself and decided to sit on the bench in front of me

I look up in the sky and I don't know if I should cry or laugh

Maybe I just miss him and still I'm stupid dahil di ko nakuha mobile number niya

"Forever regret ko ba yon?" I asked myself "ako lang ba stupid sa amin? Hindi rin naman niya kinuha number ko?" I laughed at myself

We should move on from that week where everything feels so calm, perfect and surreal

Back to reality na tayo and we should focus sa present na ito

If it's bound for us to see each other, magkikita kami

Saturday afternoon when I received a text from Melody

Exactly 7.15PM dumating si Melody and Paul. I asked them to register na rin

"Malelate si Christian, pwede ba namin siya i-register na?" Melody asked

"The guy?" I asked teasing her and she nodded tapos kinilig ng very very light "sure sure" I added

"After nito?" Paul asked

"You are free to roam around and check every food kiosk" I said then binigyan ko sila ng badge "please present this badge to avail 25% discount sa food kiosk"

"Ang bongga may discount kami" Melody said

I advised Melody and Paul to roam around and eat since hindi ko maiwan registration booth and besides, wala pa naman si Shiila, maliligo lang daw siya saglit

Right after kumain nina Melody, bumalik silang dalawa sa registration booth and decided to stay there while waiting for Christian. Good thing, Shiila is here, napakilala ko na siya kay Melody. After maghello kay Melody, pinakilala na niya sarili  niya kay Paul

And then she asked Paul if he can accompany her since hindi pa daw siya nagdidinner. Nag-agree naman si Paul

"Speed lang" I muttered and narinig ni Melody tapos nagtawanan kami

"Speed rin si Paul" Melody added "they look good together"

"I can also see that"

"Matagal na rin since the last relationship ni Paul, mga almost a year na rin, I hope they can work out"

"Kahit walang dahilan, gagawan yan ng paraan ni Shiila for them to work out, I can see that she likes him agad e. I know her very well

We both laughed

"By the way, It's almost 9PM, nasaan na si Christian?" I asked

"I don't know nga e, I've been calling him kanina pa pero hindi naman nasagot"

"Well, hanggang 11PM pa naman, he can still make it, I guess?"

"I hope so, most of the times kasi, kapag may emergency or something, hindi na yun nakakapagtext to let us know his whereabouts, malalaman na lang namin, kinabukasan"

"I hope everything is fine" I said

"Parang ayaw kayong magkita ng tadhana" she teased "I frigging want you to know him so that everytime na magkwekwento ako, you can visualize him"

"Hindi ko kinaya yung I can visualize him" I said and we both laughed out loud

"Mas okay ang kwentuhan kapag ganon kasi e"

"Well, there's always next time pa naman" I chuckled a bit

"Kapag hindi mo siya nameet ngayon then I'll make sure next week,I'll drag him papunta sa building niyo for you to meet him"

We both laughed "what a nice idea you got there" I said

And there you have it friends, I think gagawin nga ni Melody yon since hindi nakapunta si Christian. Past 11PM na nga sila umalis and no Christian in sight. I'm feeling so sorry for Melody because of what happened. I can see that she was very sad and still trying to laugh in between kwentuhan namin. I just hope everything will be fine at the end. Everyone deserves to be happy
