I was walking papunta sa dorm when I saw Paul na lumabas from the convenience store

"Hey" he called and lumapit siya sa akin and looked at his watch "almost 8PM na why are you still outside?"

I just looked at him

"I mean, well, not in the position to ask you or something. Curious lang" he said and I chuckled "what now?"

"I just had a talk with Melody and naglakad na lang ako pauwi so that I can also think"

"Think about?"

"Everything" I said

"Hmm. Medyo uneasy ako to let you walk alone papunta sa dorm, mind if I walk you there?"

"Sure" I smiled

"Does Chian know na nagusap kayo ni Mel?" he asked

"Yep, sinabi ko sa kanya kanina"

"I see, so, how was it? Hindi ba siya naging dragon or something?"

"Muntik na siyang maging dragon and her eyes, grabe, it's not her I swear to God, it feels like I'm talking to a different person kanina"

"Yes, she have that side too, yun nga gusto ni Chian kay Melody" he said then he stopped walking and looked at me "sorry, just slipped that out"

I sighed "it's okay, I guess I'm gonna hear lots of this stuff from the people around Chian these coming days"

"But wag kang magpaapekto, surely you will hear more than that stuff you are talking about around us because people used to see them together, you are the new girl and everyone will look at you strangely"

"I am the new girl" I said "sounds about.. not right"

"What do you mean?"

"Nothing"

"Maan, don't feel like rebound ka or something" he said "Chian will never do that"

"Chian will never do that.. yet?"

"Hindi ka ba naniniwala sa feelings niya for you? He's been crazy for the past weeks because of you"

"And he's crazy his whole life because of Melody"

"Caren" he said and I looked at him

"Hmm?"

"Don't you trust Chian?"

"I trust him but I still have this doubt. I mean, I know he still have feelings for Melody and I can feel that"

"Really? Bakit ako wala ng nakikitang affection ni Chian towards Melody? Maan, I've been with them since God knows when and trust me when I say na wala na siyang feelings for Melody. He still cares for her because she's our friend, Chian cares for me also because I'm his friend"

"I know that"

"Then why are you feeling like that? Hindi ko alam kung matatawa ba ako sayo or maiinis"

"I really don't know"

"Maybe because you are jealous" he said and we looked at each other "Bingo! I can easily read you Caren, you wearing your heart on your sleeve"

"Baka nga, because Melody knows almost everything about Chian and ako? Hindi ko alam kung gaano ko siya kakilala"

"You have all the time in the world to get to know him" he said and laughed "you are full of jealousy hindi mo napansin na nandito na tayo sa dorm mo"

When I looked nasa gate na nga kami. I chuckled "thanks for walking me home"

"Don't mention it, sabihin ko na lang kay Chian na hinatid kita"

"Thank you"

"Welcome, I'll go ahead" I nodded and right after, he walked away from me

I kinda like Paul because he gives me assurance about this stuff going around us. Melody knows Chian well but here we have Paul who maybe, knows Chian more

He might be right, that I am just feeling this way because I'm jealous of that fact and naisip ko na lang bigla na sana, nakilala ko na rin si Chian before pa para naman may pambato rin ako na I know him more than he knows himself

I'm just starting to know him more

Wala pa si Shiila nung dumating ako sa dorm and wala naman siyang text sa whereabouts niya

I was about to enter the bathroom nung nagring yung phone ko and I saw Chian's name

I swipe the green button "Hi" I said

"Hi" he replied "Paul told me na he walked you home"

"Yep. Tell him I said thanks. Well, again?" I chuckled and he did too

"So, how was the talk with Melody?"

"Well, I really don't know, bigla na lang siyang umalis and said that she appreciate na kinausap ko siya about this matter between us three"

"She's always like that, lagi siyang nagwawalk-out tapos umiiyak. I cannot believe na hindi siya nakipagusap sayo ng ayos"

Fudge, he knows her well also

"Nakipagusap naman siya ng ayos hindi nga lang namin nasettle in a good way. She'll never give up on you"

"I see"

"What are your thoughts about that?" I asked

"I guess it can't be help, I'll just let her do her things as long as hindi ka niya sasaktan"

"I see" I replied

"How about you, what are your thoughts about it?"

"Just the same"

"Okay.." he said "are you fine? You sound sick?"

"Yes. I'm just tired and sleepy. Let's hang up? I wanna take a shower and sleep Chian"

"Oh, okay, sure. Go ahead"

"Thank you" I replied

"Okay. Good night Steph"

"Good night" I said and hanged up

I threw my self on my bed and looked at the ceiling

"This jealousy is overflowing. I hate this feeling" I muttered to myself
