0019: CHIAN'S POV

I forgot my phone sa kwarto and saktong papalabas na si Paul

"Oh, anong meron?" he asked

"I left my phone" I replied

"oh, okay, eh wait, anong meron naman between you and Caren? Hindi ata kayo nagusap kanina? Everything okay?"

"Siguro" I said "actually, I really don't know. We had a small fight, I mean, if you can call it that way"

"So, hanggang kelan mo papatagalin na hindi kayo magkausap?"

"I was about to talk to her pero si Shiila kasi ang daming tanong e"

"Actually, sinabi ko na talaga na sabay kayo nagbreakfast ni Melody" I just looked at him "oh, chill. Hindi naman ako para magsinungaling diba? Well, I guess, she's asked that in behalf of Steph"

"Hindi ko na alam gagawin ko e"

Paul laughed "did you ask her again about that thing?"

"Alin don?"

"Did you ask her to be your girlfriend? No? Not yet? Bakit hindi pa?"

I sighed "kumukuha lang ako ng magandang tiempo"

"Kakahanap mo ng tiempo lalo ng lalayo loob sayo ni Steph"

"She literally asked me kanina kung like ko daw romantically si Melody. She said she can see na hindi pa ako totally moved on. Hindi ko alam kung bakit niya nakikita yon?"

"Actually bro, we talked about that before, remember the night that I walked her sa dorm?" he asked and I nodded "yun yung araw na nagusap sila ni Melody. I don't know kung anong sinabi ni Melody sa kanya but I can see that uneasy na uneasy siya"

"Ano kayang sinabi ni Melody?"

"I have no idea, maybe its best if you talk to her na rin?"

"I'll talk to Melody later"

"And bro, make it official na between you and Steph. She likes you very much, that I can say. Gusto ko siyang tawanan ng malakas that night but wala siya sa mood for it. But, I assured her na wala ka ng feelings kay Melody"

Napatawa na rin siya and tapped me sa likod "let's get going, lover boy" he added and lumabas na ng kwarto.

"I guess dun kana sa passenger seat" Paul said "hindi ka rin naman makakatabi kay Steph eh"

"Hindi mo ba aayain si Shiila na tumabi sayo?"
