Bullied by Gilinsky

Chapter 3 // first day

*a week later*

So... I start school today and I'm not that excited.

I just want to make at least 1 friend today.

I did all the normal morning routine stuff and left.

"Have a good day at school." Mom shouted as me and Sam walked out the door.

"Ok mom." Sam said obviously annoyed.

I ignored her like always.

When we got to the front of the school we both stood there.

"Hey Sam could you sh-" I turned around and he was gone.

Wow

The schedule seemed complicated.

"Theresa!" I looked up.

It was jack.

Gilinsky.

"What?"

"Sassy much, well it's your first day and I thought you would need someone to.. You know, show you around."

"Okay?" I didn't know how to react.

"Let me see your schedule."

I handed it to him.

"We have almost all the same classes, except for 6th period. Johnson can show you 6th because he's in the same class."

"Cool."

We walked around unfamiliar hallways and students until he stopped.

"This is your first cl-"

"Jack, what are you doing? Why are you talking to the new girl?." Johnson laughed.

"I was telling her to leave me alone. She keeps following me around just because I know her brother."

I thought he would be my first friend..

I was wrong..

"Hey new girl." Johnson said and pushed me into the locker.

I hit my head and fell onto the floor.

I sat up so my back was against the lockers.

My head started to hurt.

All his friends laughed.

Gilinsky just stood there.

He didn't even care.

"What? Are you embarrassed to be around me?"

Gilinsky looked at me with guilt in his eyes and mouthed 'I'm sorry'.

Johnson laughed and walked away.

I got to class and everyone stared at me....

Except Gilinsky..

"Class this is Theresa she's new here, you can take a seat next to Mr.Gilinsky." She pointed to him.

"Great." I mumbled under my breath.

"What was that?"

"Oh nothing." I forced a smile.

"Class you will have a 5 page essay due next Thursday about the film we are about to watch, you will be working in partners, your table partners."

That means Jacks my partner.

Yay. *note to sarcasm*

The whole class groaned, I mean the WHOLE class.

I guess she does this a lot.

This year was just getting better and better.
