I was reaching the apartment building walking home so far I've have been riding the elevator with Luke for weeks but now, but for the past three days I've had Luke ride the elevator and get off at my floor and walk with me to my apartment oh and thats not it he goes into the apartment too I've been trying to make small talk with him though because he did say some things to me the other day making the words flash through my head ''I'm gonna cut the Mr. I know nothing about you so I don't wanna interact with you crap", " I'm in this position now so I want to give this a chance to get to know you now let me ok?" These words seemed in printed into my mind and his roughness in his attempt to get me to face him. The funnier fact in all of this was that Luke did't seem strong at all but he was as proven in that very moment.

I walked into the building and of course Luke was already standing right by the elevator and the moment he saw me enter he gave me a quick smirk

"hey char"

I rolled my eyes I have given up on correcting him on that so now I just let it slide but now I do the same but with his last name as I walk  towards him and press the elevator button I look up at him and smile joyfully " hello hemming" and walked into the elevator and he followed me in he placed himself in the back leaning against the wall one leg pressed up against it he watched me as I looked at the wall with all the floor numbers on it and pressed my floor.

"so how was you're school day?'' Luke mumbled at me I turned around to face him "

it was ok I guess not  all that eventful just boring school work"

Luke walked to my side "how are your friends" he said calmly I knew he was referring to the friends I went out with the other night the night that has made all of this possible.

"they um they are doing well" I said kinda unsure of what to say

"what about that guy" he questioned me as the elevator door opened and I began to walk out with him following I stayed silent waking down the hall "so the guy?'' He asked again insisting on a answer

"none of your business" reaching the door to my apartment and inserting the key to get inside

"common why wont you tell me ?'' he murmured as he followed me inside

''because Calum" I set down my bag and watched Luke close the door

"what about Calum''

" he is my brother remember?''

Luke nodded as he began to walk to the kitchen and grabbing a soda from the fridge "want anything?'' I shook my head and sat down on the couch where Luke soon joined me sitting about arms distance away from me

Luke glanced at me for a second before speaking

"anyways what does  your brother have to do with anything?''

"you talk to him their for I can't let you into my life" I did't really believe I was saying this because for such a longtime I wanted to talk to Luke I wanted to get to know him and him to know me and now suddenly I was shutting him out

Luke looked over at me his arms in his lap " you do know I will probably end up seeing you more than him at this rate with all the time I'm around you''

I shrugged mentally fighting with myself for my previous word's still

" you might as well have someone to spill you're guts to especially if you have a shitty day at school cause they will happen I had some"

"I don't see how you could have bad day's you seem too quite ''

Luke chuckled "just because I was like that too you dose not mean that is how I am because look at me now''
