Not You're New York stranger

It was Friday and I ended up not going to school I had developed a fever overnight and Calum came home from his classes early to be with me since Luke was not an option at this point in time

''wake up charlotte'' Calum was in my room standing on the side of my bed attempting to wake me up as it was already noon and I had't gotten up yet at all I had nothing in me either no food or water I was like a dead body at this point my skin had turned paler than normal but my skin was burning hot unlike a dead person's temperature.

    I rolled over to my side and groaned making Calum shake his head and then place his hand on my shoulder and begin to shake me a bit

''common get up you need some food in you lets go'' he said calmly I groaned again waving him off

''goodnight'' I mumbled Calum kneeled on the floor and watched me

''please'' he said in a soft tone and I shook my head he sighed I could tell he was a little annoyed with me but he stood back up

''i'm getting you soup from the store ill be back'' I buried my face into my pillow hearing his footsteps echo as he walked  out and they became more and more distant with time ending with the door closing in the front of the apartment I just laid there for about fifteen minutes before getting out of bed and walking to the bathroom examining my self in the mirror my hair was all tangled up and messy and my pajama shirt was partially unbuttoned and I slowly began to button the remaining buttons on it and kept on watching my reflection before I was met with an unease feeling in my stomach I bent over slightly and wrapped my arms around my stomach taking a grasp to my shirt I began to slide down to the ground and I shifted my position so I could press my forehead onto the cold wall I felt like I sat there forever.

Calum's POV

I reached the elevator and began to ride down but during this trip down it took a stop at Luke's floor and I hoped to god it was not him on the other side.

''Calum'' a groggy voice that sounded shocked mumbled

''Luke'' I mumbled making as little eye contact as I could taking a step back allowing him to get in

''should't you be at uni already?'' he asked pretending the incident from the other night never occurred

''yeah but my sister is sick'' I said in a monotone voice

he ran his hand through his hair his jaw seemed tight I watched to see if he would say anything and he stood silent. The elevator reached the ground floor and I began to exit as as I did

" wait Calum !'' Luke shouted stopping me in my tracks we stood in front of the closing elevator

''what?'' I mumbled looking at him

''Is she ok..?'' he asked carefully

''oh common really you're interested in her again?''

''Calum..'' he murmured

''cut the bullshit Luke either you care or don't you hurt her so fucking bad dose that not enter you're skull or wait you're too busy getting wasted clearly'' pointing out his sleepiness and messy hair

''I do care but..'' he stoped

''but what Luke?'' I questioned

''but she has Marcus..'' he softly spoke this time his words sounded sad

''so what she needs you but it is up to you to come back or not'' and with that I turned away and walked to my car

Charlottes POV

My attention was drawn to the door opening again and I slowly stood up again and stared my self in the mirror before I began to put my hair in a messy bun again and I lingered a bit before I walked out to the living room facing my brother all over again

''feeling any better?'' Calum asked me walking the grocery bag to the kitchen and starting to unpack it

''I'm doing ok I guess'' I mumbled walking to the kitchen with him and examining what he had bought

''thanks for this'' I said and Calum turned to me and placed a hand on my shoulder and smiled ''anything for you sis'' he paused ''anything..'' And he then walked away from me and began to cook my soup ''grilled cheese?'' He said throwing away the grocery bag

''yeah that sounds real good'' he smiled and nodded

''hear anything from Luke?'' He asked beginning to pour the tomato soup into the pot and warming it

''no '' I mumbled kinda sad

'' I think he misses you'' he replied quickly

''I highly doubt that'' I retorted ''he wont show up to the door when I don't arrive at the Glassdoors of the building'' I added on Calum faced my direction with a spoon in one hand and waving it towards me

''I don't know about that '' I then turned and walked away back into isolation witch meant I was going into my room.

    About fifteen minutes later  Calum was barking for me to get out of my room to eat

and as we ate our food a knock on the door was presented I quickly darted my head in that direction as soon as the noise hit my ears I then looked at Calum and we exchanged looks for a brief moment before I decided to go up and answer it as I walked towards the door my heart beated faster and faster and I could not stop shaking as I felt my whole world spin. On the other side of the door stood Luke.

"char..'' he mumbled softly

''Hemming'' I responded

We quickly buried each other into the others body it felt like each dip and bomb fell into each other perfectly as if we were missing puzzle pieces whom have finally found each other.

''I missed you'' hemming whispered

I began to shake harder and his grip on me got tighter

''I missed you too'' he paused ''I am so sorry for being such an idiot''

I nodded and buried my face more into his chest feeling treat trickle down my face

he moved away slightly and cupped my face in-between his hands squishing my cheeks ever so slightly and smiled at me faintly bringing his face closer as the tears ran off my cheeks and onto the ground

''im so sorry I made you miserable Char Hood''

he then followed that with pressing his forehead against mine and our nose perfectly hot each other at the tip for some odd reason as this occurred my stomach turned and twisted filled with butterflies all over again I could't quite explain this emotion but it was occurring and before I knew it Lukes lips were on mine and it was like a match made in heaven had just been created the kiss was short but blissful although it was wrong because I was with Marcus this felt special better than him but I still loved him and Luke I have no idea what this was what emotions were running in my blood but they were different than any other.

'' I - I ''

I stopped Luke in his words placing my finger on his lips and shushing him

''just leave it to us'' as I turned away seeing my brother was no longer in eyesight anymore assuming he had left once he saw it was Luke whom had showed up

Luke followed me into the apartment

'' I will wait for you,I will wait for you every single day just for you Char Hood and I promise you that for sure because Char I will not be a stranger to you I will not be you're New York stranger I want to be known by you''

I still stood away from him my back facing him and nodded to my self

''Im glad you are back I missed you Hemming'' I glanced back at him wiping away my tears and smiling at him.
