The New York stranger -5SOS FanFic-

Prologue

Walking out of a small black and blue shiny car and onto the grey sidewalk that was not the cleanest but I figured could be worse we were quickly parked in front of where I was moving to in the big city that was also known as the big apple. This was all new to me  and this was a change for me because I had never lived in a city prior to today. " How are you feeling Charlotte " my older brother Calum with jet black hair that's slicked up towards the front and wore a white tee and some ripped jean's had recently made his way from a single room apartment to a double my brother had moved here because  he is enrolled at the university  that was only about twenty minutes from us for about a year now and was officially taking me in due to some unfortunate events that have occurred over the past two months. "I think I will like it here" I replied to him as I began to grab my boxes and other stuff I had packed into his car and began to walk towards a tall building witch was becoming my new home my brother managed to afford a decent 2 bedroom apartment witch was impressive due to him being in school but at the same time the reason he came to New York was because he had gotten a full ride scholarship but he seemed to enjoy the city he had alway's loved the idea of living here and I hoped I was going to as well.

Calum's apartment was comprised of one bath and shower a small kitchen connected with a 'dinning room' and a fair sized living room my bed room was a light pastel pink room with a bed in the corner with a black plush comforter and a nicely made wooden desk on the opposite side that had a small lamp in the corner. "how do you like it?'' Calum asked me he was basically towering me as he stood above me at the doorframe of my room as I began to lean onto it "I really like it" I paused for a moment " you did't have to get me all of these things " I walked further into the room examining every little detail as I put down the things I had brought and my brother followed me in and began to place some of my things that he brought up as well.

    "I wanted you to feel at home when you got here'' he smiled at me walking back towards the door about to exit the room. I decided to go over towards my new bed and sat on the edge bringing my focus back to him before he left and blurted ''I miss her'' my hands laid in my lap as I remembered what I just said and watched Calum's expression drop as a frown appeared on his face and he sighed it was soft enough to where I could still hear it but it was not seeming like it was out of frustration Calum slowly allowed him self to slump onto my doorframe and watched me for a split second before saying anything ''I know you do'' I shook my head ''I was there Calum'' I fell back into my bed allowing my self to sink into the mattress ''you were not there charlotte'' he attempted to correct me ''yes I was I was in Ohio'' I began to get frustrated with him ''It is not you're fault'' he added I placed my hands on my face covering it and I let out a groan before allowing my self to feel any other emotion other than frustrated I could hear Calum walk towards me for a moment I could tell he was right next to me feeling his presence by me he whispered  ''I love you sissy'' and following that I heard his footsteps echo through out the room and out into the hall I dropped my hands and laid my arms beside me motionless I felt frozen with emotion and I did't care enough about anything to get up from bed so I allowed myself  to just  be consumed by the bed facing my new life in the Big apple or how others may call it New York City.
