josie quickly sprung out of bed when she heard a knock from the door. she quickly opened the door and smiled as anthony walked in.
"so what's the plan?" anthony asked as he sat down on the bed.
"i really don't know. i was hoping you guys would have some ideas. like i get eighteen is big, but there's just nothing interesting i can think of. like i really don't know what there is to do in houston." josie laughed as she sat down on the bed next to anthony.
"we'll figure it out." anthony said as josie looked over at him and smiled. "so, what are we? i don't want to rush you into anything at all. i just want to know where we stand."
"civil people. friends, if you must. it's a step forward compared to how i felt two weeks ago." josie explained to anthony who just nodded his head.
"and if i want to kiss you? or hold your hand?" anthony asked which made josies cheeks turn a light shade of pink.
"i'd tell you not to." josie replied which made anthony gape his mouth open dramatically. "whatever comes out of this—if something comes out of this—it won't be kept a secret. and no secrets from each other. deal?"
