josie walked into her hotel room and fell onto her bed and pulled her phone out. she looked through all of her birthday wishes on social media's before she saw anthonys. the post made a smile creep onto josies face. she missed how happy she was with him. the girl quickly locked her phone when she heard a knock come from the door. she stood up and walked towards the door and saw anthony standing there with a bag of popcorn and the film parent trap in his hands.
"what are you doing?" josie smiled widely as she moved over so he could walk in.
"did you really think i would miss this tradition? every birthday, you and your dad would sit on the couch with this popcorn and watch parent trap. i'm here to continue the tradition." anthony smiled as he laid down on the bed.
"you didn't have to do this." josie said as she laid down next to him and propped her head up on her hand.
"but i wanted to. it's your birthday. it's your day. i'm here to make it the best." anthony said as he looked down an josies hand that was wrapped around his. "you're holding my hand?"
"don't ruin the moment. i think this is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me."

anthony looked over at the sleeping girl before he grabbed the remote and turned the tv off. he gently pushed her hair out of her face which made the girl stir in her sleep.
"happy birthday, jos." anthony said with a smile before he stood up from the bed and adjusted his clothes.
"where are you going?" josie asked as her eyes fluttered open.
"back to my room. go back to sleep." anthony spoke in a soft voice as he flashed the girl a soft smile.
"stay with me tonight. josh texted me and said he was staying with jaden tonight." josie said as she propped her head up and grabbed her glasses so she could see.
"are you sure?" anthony asked hesitantly.
"absolutely."
anthony crawled back into the bed and grabbed josies glasses from her face and placed them on the nightstand next to him. he pulled the covers over his body before josie scooted closer to him and laid her head on his chest. anthony rested his chin on the top of her head before he placed a soft kiss.
