You wonder why
I stumble across
My own kitchen floor
Befire putting on my mask.
Watching the sky as the snow falls
dominating the white noise
Tripping on ice on the way down the porch
steps
The hardest part of living
Is knowing youre going to be something
But not being able to reach it
As if everything in the world was against you
Put on that sheild
Block the hurt
As the world
Makes us observe
